This router works great!My only complaint is that it does go through batteries very quickly, but I was routing 2 sides on 40 pine boards that were 8' long. I could do about 3 boards using 8ah batteries before I had to change batteries.

I don’t know how long it lasts. But I used it to fit hinges on four doors and it did a good job.

I have been using this cordless compact router while restoring an old Galaga arcade cabinet. It has plenty of power for the work and is easy to control when trimming and cleaning up wood around the cabinet.The cuts have been smooth and clean, and the compact size makes it easier to handle on older cabinet parts. I gave it five stars because it has the power I need, stays easy to control, and gives me clean results on restoration work.

Mounted this under an aluminum plate with an adjustable base instead of running it handheld. Six speed settings came in handy for dialing things in depending on the bit and material, no jumping straight from too slow to too fast. Getting it turned on had a bit of a trick to it as you first power it on then hit start even tho the display is already lit up at "1" butother than that no issues. It sits well in the plate and stayed put through multiple cuts without any wobble or shifting. The kit came with enough bits to get started right away without having to buy a separate set. Solid choice if you're building your own table setup instead of buying one pre-made.

I've used this router on a few woodworking projects now, and it's been a great addition to my tools. Since I already had DeWalt 20V batteries, I didn't have to buy anything extra, which saved me money. The router has plenty of power for edge work, flush trimming, and cutting clean, smooth grooves.I like how compact and lightweight it is because it's easy to control, even when working on smaller pieces. The variable speed settings are useful, and the LED display is a nice touch that makes adjustments simple. The included router bits and edge guide were better than I expected and helped me get started right out of the box. For the price, I think this is an excellent value. It performs well, feels solid, and the convenience of being cordless makes a big difference.

The heavy-duty aluminum base provides excellent structural stability, preventing the bit from chattering during deep passes. I absolutely love that it clicks seamlessly into my existing Dewalt 20V battery ecosystem, completely eliminating the hazard of tripping over thick power cords in a busy shop. My only technical critique involves the variable speed adjustment dial. The numerical dial is located directly under the battery mount and lacks tactile clicks between speed settings. Because the dial spins so freely, the vibration of heavy routing can occasionally cause the speed setting to slowly drift lower during a long, continuous cut. Placing a small piece of tape over the dial locks it securely in place. It is a highly capable, aggressive milling tool. I’ve used this cordless compact router on several projects now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite woodworking tools.
