This filter is the right size and shape for my 5HP, 12gal Craftsman Shop Vac. It doesn't have a screw on cap to hold it on like my old one, it's purely a compression fit. It seals very tightly on the top, and you kinda have to mess with it a bit to make sure that the center post pops through the the tiny hole at the bottom of the filter. I did have to push it on harder that I feel like I should have (it even crunched a few of the pleats). I like the tight seal, and hope it won't be too much of a pain to remove when it needs to be replaced. I also duct-taped the cap from the old one inside the chamber just in case I need it for a future filter.

I ordered the Lenaviro 1-pack, washable and reusable, 5-20 gallon, wet/dry filter kit replacement for Craftsman compatible with Craftsman models CMXZVBE38754, 17925, 17584, and 17590 vacuum cleaners.I have an older Craftsman wet/dry shop vacuum that has the filter plate and nut separate from the filter. This filter is designed with the filter plate as part of the filter, so you don’t need the original filter plate, but don’t throw it away and you still need the filter nut. Installation is quick and easy and this filter slips-on and seals tight like the OEM filter. With the new filter, the vacuum has good suction and picks up dirt and debris well. And I like that the filter can be washed and reused.Overall, the Lenaviro vacuum filter is a good replacement and the price comparable to the OEM filter.

This replacement wet and dry filter fits my name-brand wet and dry vacuum perfectly. It’s a nice replacement for the original filter I had and provides an excellent seal and airflow control. It is compatible with Craftsman wet and dry vacuums and many other brands that are made for this size filter.The materials are made with a higher-quality mesh that fans out to clean and remove debris that you suck up during use of this product. The heavy-duty mesh materials make it feel like it will last a very long time. It has a decent weight to it as well, which is also something I enjoyed while using this product.One of the best qualities of this filter is that it is washable and reusable. I was able to easily remove debris and dirt by washing it out with warm water and a mild soap. I am able to easily clean out any dirt or dander that was caught between the spaces in the filter walls. I did leave this filter out to dry for at least 24 hours to just make sure it was ready for my next use.The measurements of this filter are 4.5 inches across the top, 6.1 inches across the bottom, and 7.8 inches tall. Make sure you have the correct measurements of your wet and dry vacuum filter so they match. You want to get the correct product and proportions so it suctions properly and works correctly.It’s a great value for the quality and how easily you can reuse and wash this filter. It provides wonderful suction and I have been able to suck up water and other debris flawlessly. This filter actually seems to work better than the original filter I had. That might be because it’s brand new, but after testing it, I can feel and hear the difference in the amount of suction and power this filter produces.This filter kit includes only the one replacement filter that you can easily snap it on by following the included instructions that are provided. While technically not made for my 20-year-old Ridgid WD12450 shop vac, this filter actually fits. The OEM filter for the vacuum is open on one end and relies on a plastic dome cap and a nylon retaining nut to keep the filter in place. This filter is a little longer than the OEM filter and is closed on one end, so all I have to do to make it work is flip the dome cap around so that the nut holds it in place via the convex side. Easy-peasy. This works great and actually gives the vacuum a bit more filter surface area to work with.The filter appears to be as well constructed as other filters I have purchased for this vacuum, and it works just as well. It's also a decent price, especially when you consider how long one of these filters lasts. I would certainly order this one again.

This filter fits just fine on my on my Craftsman Shop Vac 113.179780. They changed the design somewhat but it works well just the same. The basic difference is that the original filter is open on both ends and the shop vac comes with a cover to seal that end. This filter has a soft rubber cover that seals one of the ends. It does have a hole for the bolt and wing nut to tighten the filter. The description states that the filter is washable but I did not test that. This vacuum is used on my router dust collection so all it sees is saw dust. The filter was easy to install and I still used the OEM cover on one end so that it wouldn't get lost but it is not necessary as stated above. I also noticed that the diameter of this filter is slightly smaller that the original as the OEM filter did not fit in this filter's box. Not an issue. Time will tell ar far as the durability of this filter. I will update if it becomes problematic. Overall a decent value filter.

I bought this filter for my Sears Craftsman 6 gallon wet/dry vacuum (pictured) and am pleased to report it fit perfectly right out of the box. No tools or adjustments required. Installation took just a few seconds. I reused the original nut to secure the filter.The box came securely packaged in its own box, and arrived in excellent condition.One thing I noticed is that this filter has a slightly smaller diameter than the original Craftsman filter (see the two side-by-side) but in actual use I couldn't tell any difference in performance. The machine's suction remained excellent, and it picked up fine dust and debris just at least as effectively as the OEM filter (which as you can see became quite dirty). In fact, I the fit may actually be better than the original due to its construction. The soft rubber mounting material conformed to the vacuum housing better than the rigid plastic housing on the factory filter, which appeared to create a more snug and secure seal.The price is... ok. It's not markedly different than original filters you can buy from a number of sources, but considering the excellent performance, the perfect fit, a potentially better seal, and the fact that it's priced about the same as original equipment replacement filters, this is an easy recommendation. I'll definitely be considering these again when it's time for another replacement.
