These fabric scissors came very sharp and worked very well at cutting through fabric easily. I used it to create a raw hem on a pair of jeans I had that were too long on me. The scissors easily cut through 2 layers of thick denim fabric at once. I was very impressed. I got the 10" scissors and they are very large and a bit heavy. I would recommend people with small or frail hands get the 8" instead.

I didn't actually understand the difference between sewing scissors and general scissors but just wow. These things are so heavy. I'm over the moon with how these will help me with the new craft projects I am trying to embark on. Despite being heavy, they cut smooth for a right-hander and are comfortable in the hand. Their durability helps me to get through tougher fabrics without issue and provide a clean and smooth cut. Such a good quality and good value set.

I honestly had no idea what to expect when I ordered these scissors, but they completely exceeded my expectations. They are incredibly heavy-duty, solid, and well made, with a thick, durable feel that immediately gives you confidence in their quality. They cut through fabric and other materials effortlessly—almost like slicing through butter—which makes sewing and crafting so much easier and faster.I also really appreciate the oversized design, since it allows me to cut larger sections of material at once, saving time and improving accuracy when working on bigger projects. As a seamstress, that makes a big difference in my workflow. A really nice bonus is the small pair of scissors included with them, which has turned out to be perfect for snipping loose threads while sewing and handling detail work. This 10 inch sewing scissors is exactly as described. It is heavy duty sharp and comes with a scabbard lol. It also comes with thread snippers and a measuring tape which is a bonus as I was not expecting it. Thread scissors is equally as sharp. The scissors was extremely oiled when arrived so make sure to clean it off before using. It is much heavier than my other scissors but also much more solid. There is a rubber coating on the handles for grip and comfort. Scissors cuts really well and will work great for large or bulky fabrics. Great price as it is well made.

Wow, what heavy duty sheers. They close very tightly, and give a good, straight line. They are all metal, very heavy duty. I think you could cut a finger off with them. They come in a nice case too. The handles are the right size and the price is very reasonable.

Sewing scissors were one of those things I didn’t realize I needed. I’ve always just used basic kitchen scissors, and while I’m definitely not a seamstress, my kids have been getting into crafts that involve some light hand sewing.These scissors make a much bigger difference than I expected. They’re extremely sharp and cut through fabric cleanly and easily, which makes sewing projects a lot less frustrating. Compared to regular household scissors, the difference is night and day.That said, these are serious scissors. They’re very sharp, and I wouldn’t let my kids use them unsupervised. You can see the size comparison in my photo next to a standard pair of kitchen scissors.Overall, I’m very happy with them and wish I’d picked up a pair sooner.

These are a very high quality pair of scissors. Actually much heavier than I thought they would be. Most of what I do involves a lighter weight material so I think these would be a challenge for that but on heavier fabric they are going to work great. These are definitely a very good quality, very solid with a good grip and very sharp. They are also pre oiled. On the scissors themselves it says they are tailoring scissors but what I’m envisioning using them for would be vinyl or maybe a heavier canvas material. I’m looking forward to giving them a try.
