I think these look great. And while they’re only two of them, cooking them together was very easy. I like that it has a nice backing so that it’s comfy to walk on. And I have to admit that it looks very very natural. To the point where you wouldn’t even know it’s not real wood. It is a little pricey though.

The Harpo Oak finish has a really natural, warm tone with subtle grain detailing that looks far more upscale than basic vinyl. The plank sample feels thick, rigid, and substantial in hand, giving confidence that it can handle heavy foot traffic and everyday spills without swelling or warping. The click-lock edges align cleanly, making it easy to see how smoothly a full herringbone layout would snap together. It’s a great way to check the actual texture, color variation, and build quality under home lighting before committing to a full room renovation.

Appears to be nice and durable snaps and very nicely and holds. Definitely great quality and very durable. Looks absolutely nice and when you snapped together, you can barely see the line. Installation super easy because of how well it snaps together. Overall, excellent value definitely worth the money, especially for the quality!

I've been considering some floor resurfacing projects recently so I wanted to take a look at different materials I might use. These look really nice, with a high quality finish and natural grain texture. But then I looked at the costs involved to actually do a larger project with them, and I just can't justify it. Sure they look great, but do they look $5+ per sqr foot great? Not really.But maybe you're not as price conscious as I am, and you just want high quality, and long term durability. These are a great option then, because they're very solid, very sturdy, and the foam underlay does a great job of keeping traffic noise down, and making them really comfortable to walk on.If these were closer to $4 / sqr, I would give them 4 stars, and if they were $3.50 or less a square foot, they'd be 5 star, even though they'd still be one of the more expensive options for this class of flooring, they really do look very nice. But they're $5.50 per square foot, or $5.18 if you buy 12 packs at once, so they get 3 stars from me.

Nice! More texture than actual wood planks for flooring - those are usually sanded and polyurethaned pretty close to perfectly smooth. These have both visual and textural grain. The two planks are slightly different shades and considerably different grain - they do a good job of looking like actual wood. An interesting variant on tongue-and-groove connections - there's a different, rubber plank attached just slightly offset. One edge of the plank slides over the rubber and notches under the matching edge of the next plank - so there's a solid rubberized, waterproof, sound-absorbing layer under the solidly connected wood-like planks. I just got two planks for a sample, but assuming these aren't the only two kinds (that a box of planks would come in many different variations, looking like natural wood), this would make a very nice floor. Comfortable to walk on, visually good, good padding - nice.

I ordered this sample to get a realistic sense of how the King Oak finish would look in my living room. Photos can only tell part of the story, so having an actual plank in hand helps me evaluate the color tone, grain pattern, and overall aesthetic in my lighting and décor. Once received, my first impression was of a sturdy SPC plank with a synchronized wood‑grain texture and a premium backing. The click‑lock system appears straightforward, and the built‑in underlay looks and feels like it will help with sound absorption. My impression is that the King Oak finish and grain looks and feels natural and the click lock system makes it easy to lay panels flush up against one another during installation. Overall, this appears to be a high-quality flooring product and I'm currently evaluating how the sample looks against my existing furniture and decor.

This is an impressive product. It looks good; see pics. In addition, the planks notch into each other, think tongue and groove. The bottom has a rubbler-like coating which prevents sliding, but also should provide a cushion so that you don't get that "creaky" noise that is often associated with vinyl planks. That last part is somewhat subjective because with the sample pack it is hard to tell if the "creaky" noise would be eliminated. It is on the two board pack but that is no guarantee that a whole floor would be the same. Overall, this seems like a premium product.

Some of our wall-to-wall carpets are in need of a freshened look. We are at the moment evaluating if vinyl planks could be installed to replace the old floor coverings.These life-size sample planks from "Plain To Beautiful In Hours" are helpful to get a more realistic feel of the aesthetics and how well they may work out. The click-lock fastening mechanism feels quite secure without the extra work of gluing or nailing. It looks like an installation we can manage. The layout pattern can be in a straight run rather than in herringbone as shown in the listing. The planks are quite firm, substantial and easy to clean. They feel durable and heavy duty. The wear layer is specified at 0.5mm, a thickness that is considered premium quality for residential use. There is a thick foam backing that likely would do a great job in dampening foot traffic noises and sound absorption.Overall, the samples show a quality product. The wood grain and texture look very realistic though the finish would look prettier in satin rather than matte. We will keep this on our shortlist as we explore and compare other options. One of our reservations is that at $5.18 per sq. foot at the time of review, this is a bit over our budget.
