Flush Mount Dimmable Outdoor Ceiling Light Fixture

This is a modern styled spot downlight, relatively inconspicuous but attractive enough if used as an accent. It's extremely bright at full brightness. It has an pretty focused spotlight effect, which may vary by finish color -- I chose the 'black' version, and the dark inner ring may have helped the spotlighting effect. The fixture is relatively small and easy enough to install with an integrated twist-to-lock mounting plate and retaining wire.I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does have a genuine listed and damp-rated driver+enclosure under UL E478128 (despite the driver only saying "conforms to"), as I am not familiar with the FNOESTY brand elsewhere. The driver itself sits near the 'top' of the fixture with no heat sink or drip shield. Those _should_ be unnecessary given how the fixture mounts (it's not a pendant and shouldn't be modified into one), but my inner Murphy wonders if the slightly exposed driver-to-lamp connection might affect long-term reliability. The value is also only so-so at the current $50-for-1, $130-for-3 pricing. Still, this looks like a quality fixture for a porch or covered deck, so full marks.

I haven’t installed these lights yet, but I’m very impressed with them so far. The fixtures feel well made and the material seems sturdy and durable. The black finish looks sleek and modern, and the compact 4.7-inch size is perfect for a clean, low-profile appearance.They also came packaged well and arrived in good condition with no visible damage. I like the simple, modern design and think they will look great once installed. So far, they appear to be a good value for a 3-pack.

I bought this flush mounted outdoor patio light, which can also be mounted on the side of your house as a spotlight, to replace a standard, basic, and boring white flush mount. The old light came with my house, was super dirty, impossible to clean, and honestly pretty ugly. This new option is all black and looks a lot better in the space. One thing to keep in mind is that it is not quite as large as it appears in the product photos. It does extend out from the wall about four to five inches, but it is not huge by any means. Fortunately, the sizing turned out to be exactly fine for my specific setup.Performance-wise, it is way brighter than my previous fixture and outputs a crisp, bright white light. It is fully dimmable if you have a dimmer switch installed, or you can simply run it with a standard flip-on, flip-off light switch.While the installation looked easy at first glance, it turned out to be much more difficult than expected. On the positive side, it features a metal hanging wire so you do not have to hold the entire weight of the fixture while wiring it, and it includes a specific black mounting plate. The main issue was the extremely tight clearance between the back of the mount and the junction box space. It took me a really long time and a lot of frustrating effort to jam all the electrical wires into the proper spot so the light could sit flush. To secure it, you have to align three separate tabs and twist, but if even a single wire is slightly in the way, it will not lock into place.I was eventually able to get it fully mounted, and once installed, it felt solidly in place and looked great. The metal construction feels durable, and while the product notes say it is rated for outdoor moisture rather than direct water exposure, it should be perfect for a covered patio where it will handle humidity and condensation without getting hit by direct rain. It was a bit of a hassle to put up, but it really enhanced the look of the space over the basic fixture it replaced.

I put 3 of these white lights under an extended eave to light a pathway around the side of the house. I first installed surface mounted 4" octagon boxes and ran my raceway between them. The lights were very easy to install on these. The lights are very bright and I am happy with them.

Just be aware you're paying more for the design than groundbreaking performance. I'd give it 3 stars because it works well, but I think it should be more competitively priced.
