Key Features

  • Design: The kit is specifically designed for constructing a lightweight wooden roof structure atop a 20 FT container. These brackets are stably compatible with 2*4/2*6 wooden beams, providing a sturdy and level installation foundation that eliminates the need for manual adjustment
  • Materials: The container bracket is made of heavy-duty iron, equipped with bolts and nuts, capable of firmly securing 2*4/2*6 lumber and preventing deformation/cracking, ensuring that the roof can withstand harsh outdoor weather conditions. It can protect the container from direct rain and sunlight, thereby extending its service life
  • Features: The wooden bracket designed for containers allows you to build a roof capable of draining rain and snow on top of the container, thus preventing water accumulation and avoiding potential leaks. The space formed between the metal roof of the container and the new wooden roof enables air circulation, reduces heat transfer and condensation, and thus keeps the interior cool
  • DIY: The container roof kit can not only serve as a rain-proof, snow-proof, and heat-insulating roof, but also support various DIY projects, such as transforming it into a residence, studio, etc. It can also be expanded to create small attics or storage spaces, meeting diverse architectural needs
  • If you encounter any issues while using this container roof truss kit, please contact us immediately, and we will provide assistance (with installation instructions attached)

Pricey but nice

[Color: Black 22]
I bought these brackets for a 20-foot shipping container and they made the process of framing a roof over it considerably easier. The brackets are thick and sturdy, and everything fit the 2x4 lumber I was using without any issues. Having the brackets already made saved me a lot of time compared to trying to fabricate something myself. The black finish looks good and seems like it should hold up well outdoors. The included hardware is a nice bonus, although I may upgrade some of it depending on how permanent the installation ends up being. Once everything is measured and squared up, the installation is pretty straight forward and the brackets give you a good solid starting point for building the roof structure. The biggest advantage for me is the time savings. If you're putting a roof over a shipping container, these eliminate a lot of the guesswork and fabrication work. They're not cheap, but when you consider the time and materials involved in making brackets yourself, I think they're worth the price. Definitely made my container roof project alot easier.

Well-built container roof brackets

[Color: Black 22]
The brackets arrived as described and appear to be well made. They’re sturdy, fit standard shipping containers properly, and worked well for attaching wood trusses. If you’re planning a container roof or shelter project, this set is a practical option.

Good Brackets for Adding a Roof Over a Storage Container!Good Brackets for Adding a Roof Over a S...

[Color: Black 22, Color: Black 22]
I got these brackets for a 20-foot shipping container that is being used for storage, because the top of a container turns into a frying pan in the sun and a very loud drum set when it rains. The brackets feel solid and the black finish looked clean out of the box, and I liked that the set gives you enough pieces to lay out a proper wood-framed roof instead of trying to cobble something together with random hardware. We test-fit them with 2x4 lumber first, and the fit was straightforward once everything was lined up and squared before tightening. The included bolts and nuts are helpful, though I would still take my time planning the spacing and pitch before drilling or committing to the final layout, because a crooked roof on a container is the kind of thing that will annoy you every time you walk past it. These are not a complete roof by themselves, of course, but as the bracket kit for building a simple raised wood roof over a 20-foot container, they make the project feel much more organized and less like backyard engineering with a questionable soundtrack.

Just a small part of the construction process.

[Color: Black 22]
These are good brackets that make installation of a roof over shipping containers easy. The brackets come with a black coating (paint?) for protection from rusting. Not as good as galvanized but wold make it easier to safely weld onto the container. One potential problem I can think of: Spanning to another container, wall, or posts without having a foundation. If you plan to build past your one shipping container, it needs to have some sort of prepared foundation the same way an actual house would be. Piers that go into the ground below the frost line would be a minimum.People are going to have a shipping container dropped right straight onto the ground. Then they will span over to something else to create a carport or barn. Then as the seasons change the ground will heave, and these brackets being the connection points will bend or break. The people responsible for the build will have a meltdown and blame these brackets as failures when it was thier improper use and construction that caused them to fail.Overall, I think this is a solid product. The hardware is a bit cheap and I will be using USA building code certified hardware instead. The real benefit is the time savings over fabricating your own, if you value your time at all you couldn't build these for the cost of buying

Worth the Price!

[Color: Black 22]
These brackets make installing a roof over two shipping containers a breeze to create a covered working space in between them, or even a fully enclosed shop/garage space. They install very easily and just require measuring to make sure they are spaced correctly on both containers, and of course making sure the placement of the containers is precise. The quality of the brackets is nice...thick steel and a nice finish. Installation is pretty easy using self-tapping metal screws or drilling holes for the screws first. I can't wait to put these to work to increase my usable covered space.

Heavy-Duty Brackets Built to Last

[Color: Black 22]
These brackets exceeded my expectations. The steel construction is thick, solid, and feels extremely durable. Right out of the box, you can tell these are designed for serious projects rather than light-duty use.The powder-coated finish gives them a professional appearance while also helping protect against rust and weather exposure. Installation was straightforward thanks to the pre-drilled mounting holes, and everything lined up perfectly. Once installed, they felt incredibly secure with no movement or flexing. Whether you're mounting shelving, building a roof extension, or adding accessories to a shipping container, these brackets are built to handle the job. Excellent quality and definitely worth purchasing.
