Stress Free water management

[Size: 174FT Head]
I’ve been using this pump to pull water from the lake up to my veggie garden, and it’s turned out to be a seriously dependable setup. The float switch is the standout feature, it automatically kicks the pump on when the water rises and shuts it off once the level drops, exactly like the advert promises. I don’t have to hover over it or worry about burning out the motor, because the float handles all the on/off cycling for me.I'm impressed with how smoothly it runs. Even with lake water that sometimes has a little muck or debris, the pump keeps a steady flow without choking. The long power cord gives me plenty of room to position it safely away from the shoreline. The stainless-steel body feels tough and built for real outdoor use, and the whole thing is quiet enough that I barely notice it running. For garden irrigation, this pump has been a workhorse. I can set it in the lake, let the float switch manage the water level, and focus on the garden instead of babysitting equipment. If you need something reliable for moving water automatically, especially where water levels change, this float switch setup makes the whole process hands‑off and stress‑free.

Septic - Submersible PumpThis could be used for pumping from a cistern or other water catchment system to funnel water for irrigation or other purposes or be used to drain a septic tank. We are considering our options at this point because we have a problem... our septic leach field may be corrupted and we can't afford to rework it at this time. However, this pump may be part of the answer to that problem - if that is what is going on. We are looking at setting up a grey water tank for the house. Redirecting all the water coming from the washer, sinks and showers/tubs to a tank that would supply irrigation to the plants and grass around the house and in the pasture. We use all natural organic soaps in our home that are actually suggested to use in terms of helping cut down on fleas and ticks as they contain peppermint oil. So, I'm not concerned about utilizing this water to feed our gardens even. I feel it would be a benefit and cut back on our ground water utilization as the roof runoff would also be going to this tank. This is where this pump will be used for.... a water catchment system in the way of an old fashioned cistern to use for irrigation. This unit offers a 174 feet lift from the head. This is perfect for our use.The instruction manual calls this an effluent/septic bottom suction pump.It has a flow rate of up to 32 gallons per minute. The pump has a durable 3/4 HP Submersible motor. The unit can fit into a 4" line. It has a bottom intake for reliable operation. It is constructed of corrosion resistant stainless steel and industrial grade thermoplastic. The power cord is 33 feet long. It is designed for waste water use.The big thing... it is covered by a 3 year comprehensive warranty by the manufacturer. The instruction manual is quite comprehensive. It begins with Installation: Placement and Environment, Electrical setup, Pump Installation steps, product overview and design, suitable applications and fluid requirements. Installation guide: pre-installation checklist, well and positioning requirements, electrical and piping connections, startup and operational checks, maintenance, wiring, a blown up guide of what it looks like if it is used as a well pump: pressure gauges, check valve, break valve, well lid, plywood, cable, cable clip, hang rope, pipe, deep well pump, sand. Other diagrams show its use in other situations and how it can be setup within a cistern or other body including a well. It comes equipped with a 33' long cord. However, according to the instructions, the plug can be removed and wires spliced to go to an electrical source. This can be used as a well pump that can be suspended up to 174 feet as it can pump that high. I recall being told our well was not even 200 feet deep. There are two different types of tape that come with the pump. They are in the zipper bag which held the instruction book and a pair of gloves. The next page shows a blow up drawing of all the parts that make up the pump. Numbered 1-33.The final two pages of the instruction guide goes into trouble shooting. They touch on the issue, potential reasons and steps to fix.I am glad to have spotted this pump. I feel that it is durable and will help us in whatever project it is needed for. Deep water well, cistern or septic.

Plenty of Pump Without the Drama

[Size: 174FT Head]
I put this to work expecting a little trial and error, but it turned out to be pleasantly straightforward. The 3/4 HP motor has plenty of muscle for moving water, and the long 33 foot power cord is far more useful in the real world than I initially thought it would be. I did not have to play extension cord gymnastics just to get it positioned. The float switch also makes the setup much more convenient for applications where you do not want to babysit the pump. Construction feels solid and it has handled the work I have given it without complaint. The 4 inch body is worth checking against your installation before ordering, especially in tighter wells. Overall, this feels like a lot of pump for the money.

Solid Backup Pump to Keep on Hand for a Well or Water-Moving Emergency

[Size: 174FT Head]
I got this submersible pump primarily to keep on hand as a backup because I have a well, and a failed well pump is one of those problems I would much rather be prepared for before it happens. This is a substantial 3/4 HP stainless steel pump with a 4-inch body, a long 33-foot power cord, a float switch, and a useful assortment of installation accessories. I especially appreciate that it comes with the safety rope, lifting hook, sealing tape, and gloves rather than just the pump by itself.I also like that it is not limited to one very specific use. In addition to keeping it as a possible backup for my well system, I can see using it for moving water from a cistern or other water source, irrigation, drainage, or other situations where I need to transfer a significant amount of water. The stainless steel construction feels reassuring for equipment that may spend its life submerged, and the included float switch gives it additional flexibility for applications where automatic water-level control is useful.I have not needed to put it into permanent service yet, so I can't speak to long-term durability or verify its full pumping capacity in an installed system. For me, this was something I wanted available before an emergency rather than something I wanted to be scrambling to find after a pump failure. As a backup piece of equipment for a property with a well and other water-moving needs, I am very glad to have it on hand.

Float Switch and a Long Cable Make This One Ready to Drop InFloat Switch and a Long Cable Make Th...

[Size: 174FT Head, Size: 174FT Head]
The 4 inch diameter body slides into a standard well casing without any coaxing, and the 3/4 HP motor has enough lift to move water out of a septic tank or a flooded sump without stalling partway up the line. Build quality feels solid, with a stainless housing that has stayed clean after repeated submersion.Everything needed to get it running is included. The 33 foot electric cable covers most residential depths and gave enough slack to route power somewhere sensible instead of stringing an extension cord across wet ground. Waterproof tape, a pair of disposable gloves, and a hanging rope round out the kit, and the rope is sturdy enough to take the pump's weight during lowering and retrieval. The automatic float switch is the feature that earns its keep. It kicks on as water rises and shuts off once the level drops, which means no babysitting during a long drain cycle and no risk of the motor running dry.Worth noting that the float needs clearance to swing freely, so a narrow pit can leave it stuck against a wall. Tying the tether slightly higher on the discharge pipe solved that. Also, 33 feet is generous but not unlimited, so measure the run before ordering.Ideal for septic drainage, deep wells, and flooded basements. Skip it if the space is too tight for float travel.

Decent submersible, heavy-duty agricultural pump, affordable

[Size: 174FT Head]
This is a solid, well-built submersible pump that feels designed for serious use rather than occasional light-duty drainage. The 3/4 HP motor provides strong pumping performance, and the 174-foot maximum head gives it considerably more capability than a typical utility pump. It is a practical choice for a deep well, cistern, irrigation system, septic effluent application, or other situations where water needs to be moved a substantial vertical distance. The included float switch is particularly useful for installations where automatic operation is important, and the generous 33-foot UL-listed power cord provides welcome flexibility when positioning the pump. I also appreciate that it operates on standard 115V power, which makes installation much more convenient than pumps requiring a dedicated 230V supply. The 4-inch configuration is compact enough for many well and cistern applications while still delivering the performance expected from a 3/4 HP unit. Overall, this is a capable and versatile pump with a good combination of power, head capacity, automatic operation, and installation convenience. A very useful piece of equipment to have for a rural property or any application involving wells, irrigation, drainage, or water management. It is not rated for potable, drinking water. There are gaskets and components that might not be safe for human use. Otherwise, it seems an affordable option if used as directed.

Fixed my septic pum pissue, and has been working well, and keeping up.

[Size: 174FT Head]
My second tank on my septic system had the pump go out. I needed something to replace it. I found this, and was able to drop it in, and get my black water drained up to the drain field. I was not sure if it would pump fast enough, but it had no problem keeping up. It also has a built in float to help keep it from going dry, and ruining the pump. This thing saved me from a big bill to have the original pump rebuilt or replaced by a costly repair service. It has been running strong for about a week, and seems to be going strong.

Appears well madeAppears well made

[Size: 174FT Head, Size: 174FT Head]
I can't really give this a full rating because we haven't been able to test this well pump yet. That being said, my son who has installed a submersible well pump in the past, came and looked this one over and said that it appears to be very well made; the stainless steel housing is flawless with no exposed edges that would possibly cut you while handling it. The wiring looks just as it should and the accessories that are necessary were all included, and the hose looks to be intact. We ordered this pump to be on standby, because our current well pump has been showing signs of possible failure and didn't want to be left in the lurch. When that does happen, and this one actually gets installed, I'll update this review to reflect on how well it works or doesn't.
