We own a business building metal buildings, so fall protection equipment is something my husband actually uses on the job. This 50 foot lifeline assembly has been a great addition to his work equipment and feels very well made. What I like:• Heavy duty construction: The rope feels thick, durable and made for actual jobsite use.• 50-foot length: Gives him plenty of working length when working at height on metal buildings.• Complete setup: I like that it includes the rope grab, energy absorber, hook and roof anchor rather than just the lifeline itself.• Smooth rope grab: Moves along the rope as needed while still feeling substantial and secure.• Nice extras: The included knee pads and storage bag are useful additions.Overall: This has been perfect for the type of work my husband does. It feels like a solid, heavy duty set and has been a useful addition to his fall-protection gear.

Working up on a steep roof always gets the adrenaline going, but having the right gear makes all the difference in actually feeling secure. This 50-foot vertical lifeline assembly is built seriously tough with a \(0.55\text{''}\) diameter, high-strength braided polyester rope, and a hefty \(30\text{ kN}\) breaking strength that meets ANSI standards. The upgraded double-tooth rope grab and steel hook catch smoothly and respond fast, while the PVC-sealed energy absorber gives that extra layer of safety by deploying only when an impact crosses \(6\text{ kN}\). It handles everything from clearing out gutters to routine inspections without showing any early wear and tear. Considering the heavy-duty build quality and the peace of mind it brings to high-up jobs, the value for the money here is fantastic.

It is decent fall protection kit with knee pads. At $60, I think it's a good price and makes this kit affordable. It comes with a roof anchor, a pair of knee pads, and the 50 ft lifeline assembly. The knee pads are okay. It's just a thin foam padding with some cheap straps. Probably won't last long. The roof anchor has a decent thickness and comes with screws for you to mount it on the roof. It is smaller than some of my other roof anchor. It's about the width of my small hands. I think it will work fine as long as it's probably mounted onto a wood beam. The 50 ft lifeline assembly looks good. The rope looks pretty thick and durable. The snap hook and screw lock carabiner looks similar to the other ones I've got. Should do the job. Comes with the energy absorber in case you fall to damping the fall. Seems like a decent kit to start off with if you only plan on getting on the roof a few times a year.

Everything you need to set up a safety line for roof work in one package. Flip line with clip for the anchor end and a sewn stopper end at the free end, flip lock anchor point complete with shock absorber, Roof anchor to screw to the roof as anchorage, even the screws for the anchorage, and a carry bag. Super easy to use, just grip and squeeze to unlock and adjust the flip line, release and it double locks securely because of the double grabber mechanism. Line is a good quality line that should last a long time being dragged over a roof top, and the whole system will make you much safer in an environment that kills and maims a surprising number of people every year. Great value having everything all in one pack, too.

Anchor and hooks are durable and thick, gives a lot of assurance. Rope is strong. Technically very easy to use given the lightweight, but not super sure about the fall arrestor mechanism (rope grab + absorber). We've seen and have much larger/heavier duty fall arrestors that can weigh several pounds. These on the other hand, are really lightweight friction grabbing locks that we're not really sure how to test. Inexpensive at under $60, but this is the kind of thing where you're willing to pay over $100 for better results.
