Excellent outdoor plug. The way the head is fanned out makes it very easy to plug in multiple items. The cord is very strong and durable. The 10 ft of length gives us many options of placement. We've had no trouble with the court tripping a fuse and it powers multiple items plugged in at one time with no trouble. We have used for patio lights a music speaker and a saw all at the same time with no issue. Excellent durable and capable cord

I got the 3-foot version of this extension cable w/ 6 outlets to fix a problem I had accessing a wall receptacle behind a pull-out bed attached to a wall (see photo). I needed to bring outlets to a more accessible location in order to easily plug in and remove power cords to various devices, but with a short cord length extension cord. This item did the trick. Because of the triangular design, you can easily plug a few bulky wall warts alongside regular plugs. Also, you might be wondering why the plastic body of the outlet is clear. That’s because there is an LED light inside the plug body that lights up red and makes it easy to both find the outlet and plug in cords when the room is dark (see photo). It’s important to note also that the cord for this extension cord/outlets uses 14-gauge wires, not the standard 16-gauge wires that are smaller. This gives the extension cord greater power capacity, 15Amps (1875 Watts) instead of 13Amps. That means it can accommodate heavy power draw items like power tools while maintaining additional safety protection against cord overheating.

Like many homeowners, my garage sometimes doubles as a workshop. On those occasions, the car gets parked in the driveway and the power tools needed for the project are moved from their storage locations to where they can actually be used. In the past, I have used an extension cord plugged in to an outlet in the garage rafters that drops down and provides a single socket. It was adequate, if somewhat inconvenient to unplug a table saw and then plug in a router or sander or whatever other power tool that was needed for the project.This well-thought-out extension cord relieves that problem beautifully. While I can't readily imagine a project that would require six tools simultaneously, I do need two or three frequently.I especially like the red light that comes on when there is power available, and the built-in hanger. The circuit breaker is a good idea as well, though it's actual current rating is not stated anywhere. Since the cord is rated for 15 amps, my guess is the breaker is probably rated for 20. In that case, I am curious as to whether the cord's breaker or the garage circuit breaker, which is also rated at 20, would trip first. Not so curious though, to intentionally overload it to find out!Overall, I am very pleased with this acquisition and believe most, if not all, purchasers will be as well.

The 14-gauge cord feels durable, and having six outlets along the length of the cord makes it much more convenient than using a traditional extension cord with a power strip.My only hesitation is with the outlet design itself. The housing is clear, and you can see straight through the receptacle assembly. It may be completely normal for this design, but it makes me a little uneasy about leaving it outside continuously in rain, snow, or other harsh weather.The product is rated IP65 waterproof, so it should handle normal outdoor use. However, I personally wouldn't plan on leaving it outside all winter powering holiday decorations. For temporary outdoor projects, around the garage, or in fair weather, I wouldn't hesitate to use it.Overall, it's a well-built extension cord with plenty of outlets and a heavy-duty feel. My only reservation is for long-term outdoor exposure, but for everyday use around the house, workshop, or yard, it's worked well and has been a useful addition.
