Luces led

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]

Worth the money

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
I bought these recessed lights for my sister's basement, so I didn't personally install them, but she did give me some feedback after putting them in. She said they were a little tricky to install, but they weren't too difficult and she didn't have any major problems. If you've installed this type of recessed lighting before, you should be able to figure them out without too much trouble.Once they were installed, they looked really nice! The white trim gives the ceiling a clean, finished appearance, and they provide plenty of light for the basement. She was very happy with how bright the room became.I also like that you can select the color temperature before installation, so you can choose the type of white that works best for your space. The fact that they're dimmable is another nice feature, especially if you want more flexibility with the brightness.Overall, installation may take a little patience if you're not familiar with recessed lights, but once they're in, they look great and provide plenty of bright, even lighting. My sister is happy with how they turned out, and that's what matters to me since I bought them for her!

Good replacements for LED cans.

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
I have about 80 LED recessed cans throughout my home. The ones that I originally installed typically seem to last about 5 years, which is not ideal when you consider the claims of 10,000 hours or whatever it is that they claim. The problem is that the thing that craps out is the capacitors and the circuit board, not the actual LED diodes on the circuit boards. Planned obsolescence right? Anyway, these seem to be reasonable replacements but obviously how long they last will only be told with time. But currently I'm happy with them and the coloring that they produce.

Easy installation and excellent light quality

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
I installed these lights during a room update and was pleased with how simple the process was. The selectable color temperatures made it easy to match existing lighting, and the brightness is more than enough for general room illumination. The fixtures feel well made and operate without flicker. Considering the performance, flexibility, and number of lights included, they provide excellent value for money.

Bright Retrofit Lights, but the Spring Clips Require Some PreparationBright Retrofit Lights, but ...

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch, Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
I got these six-inch LED lights to replace older incandescent bulbs in existing recessed fixtures. Before installing them in the ceiling, I tested one in a floor can light to compare the brightness and color settings. At 1,050 lumens, it produces plenty of light, and the diffuser spreads it evenly without the harsh appearance of exposed LEDs.The selectable color temperature is especially useful. A switch on the side lets you choose anything from a warm 2700K to a crisp 5000K, so the same fixtures can work in a living area, kitchen, hallway, or workspace. Each light uses only 9.5 watts and produces far less heat than the halogen bulbs I am replacing. The E26 adapter screws into the existing bulb socket and connects to the light with the included plug, so no rewiring or remodeling should be necessary. However, these are not completely ready to install straight from the box. I had to remove the screws holding the spring brackets, unfold the clips into a V shape, and then reinstall the brackets. It was not difficult, but doing it six times adds unnecessary preparation and the instructions could explain it more clearly. The fixtures are lightweight, bright, and should provide a clean-looking upgrade for older recessed cans. I particularly like being able to choose the color temperature before installing each one. Aside from the awkward spring-clip setup, these appear to be an efficient and practical replacement for older recessed lighting.

finicky to install but work well once in placefinicky to install but work well once in place

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch, Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
The first thing to note on these is that you must remove and then re-attach the spring clips to be able to install them. This is not difficult, just requires a phillips screwdriver, there are two per light.Remove the old bulb, screw in the included adapter, plug in the light and push into the housing.I have insulation-contact rated recessed fixtures that are smooth on the inside. It took two tries to get the lights to stay in place, at first, they would fall out. The second time I installed I just somehow found the happy-place for them and they now stay in place. So keep this in mind that the fit depends on the fixture. The nice thing about these is that they cover the old trim ring and fill in the gap. The old lights left a small gap around them so you could see up into the can, these totally cover them which is really nice.Being able to change the color is really nice too and they will use far less electricity than the old-style bulbs. The value per unit is nice, just that the installation/fit for my lights was finicky

Easy and Quick upgradeEasy and Quick upgrade

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch, Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
These were fairly easy to install. The hardest part was removing the spring bracket, getting the spring rotated to the correct position, then re-installing the bracket. Then re-re-installing the bracket a second time, but this time at the correct 6 inch setting. (that way my bad for glossing over the instructions). For my old can lights, I had to unscrew the bulb, then reach my hand up in there to find the springs that held the cover on and detach it. Then I screwed in the socket adapter, set the light to the color I liked best (4000K cool white for me) and located the protruding c-hooks in my existing housing. Then I just put one side of one spring on, then the other. Then did the same on the other side, making sure the spring leg didn't slip into the groove for the spring (because then it doesn't work and you keep trying to make it fit flush then you get frustrated and try to take it back out and one leg is stuck and then you have to wiggle it out of the groove)Once in and on they look great and give a lot more light for my kitchen counters.

Easy upgrade for replacing older halogen technology with cooler running energy efficient LED ligh...

[Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch, Color: 5CCT - 6 Pack, Size: 6 Inch]
These LED lights allow for completely swapping out older halogen bulbs that not only put out more heat are also more costly when replacing. The LED quality of these lights is impressive. These have a simple E26 socket that screws into the existing can light socket and can be connected with the simple TP24 cable connection. These lights also have dual springs that keep the lamp firmly in place on the ceiling and make it super easy to later adjust the color temperature with the switch on the side. The temperate range is select able from 2700K up to 5000K to suite your preference. These light also support dimmers and are super bright. This is one of easiest upgrades to improve the lighting technology while keeping the existing can light socket and infrastructure, no remodeling needed, just a quick swap and replace upgrade. My plan for these will be to replace older halogen blubs in celiing mounted can light fixtures. These should be highly more energy efficient and also keep the room temp cooler.Getting the lights ready for installation required unscrewing the clip mount to open and form a V shape then screwing the mount back down. No other prep was needed to installing these LED lights. The stated 1050LM brightness is accurate and they don’t’ look like LED lights with the diffusion on the front. At 9.5W these are highly energy efficient and produce a bright impressive spot. I’ve been per-testing the lights In a floor can lamp to see just how well they will look before installing in ceiling fixtures. These are lightweight fixtures, keeps the room cooler than with halogen bulbs and provide adjustable color temperatures.
