Excellent for Final PolishingExcellent for Final Polishing

[Set name: 2000 GRIT, Set name: 2000 GRIT]
These 2000-grit discs work great for fine finishing and polishing preparation. They leave the surface extremely smooth and are especially useful when trying to bring back a nice shine on automotive paint. The hook-and-loop backing holds securely to my DA polisher, and the discs hold up well during use. With 100 discs in the pack, this is also an excellent value. Great choice for automotive detailing and finishing work.

Great Affordable Option

[Set name: 80-400 GRIT]
So far pretty impressive. Local paint shop sells 6" hook and loop for $1 a piece, so this multi-pack is definitely a welcomed alternative.

Excellent Grit Assortment with Durable Film BackingExcellent Grit Assortment with Durable Film Ba...

[Set name: 80-400 GRIT, Set name: 80-400 GRIT]
I ordered this 100-piece assortment because I use a wide range of grits for woodworking, automotive work, metal preparation, and general refinishing. Having everything from aggressive 80 grit through fine 400 grit in one box saves me from buying several separate packs, and the grit numbers are printed repeatedly on the backs so they are easy to identify. The assortment includes 80, 120, 150, 180, 240, 320, and 400 grit discs, which provides a practical progression from removing old finishes and leveling rough surfaces to smoothing primer, preparing paint, and completing finer finish work. These are six-inch, no-hole discs, so the entire face is covered with abrasive. That is especially useful when dust extraction is not needed or when using them with a foam hand-sanding pad.The polyester film backing feels noticeably stronger and more flexible than ordinary paper-backed sandpaper. It should hold up better around edges and curved surfaces without tearing or creasing as easily. The hook-and-loop backing also makes changing grits quick and avoids the adhesive residue that can come with stick-on discs. Since they are rated for wet or dry use, they are versatile enough for wood, metal, body filler, automotive paint preparation, and headlight restoration.Overall, this is a very useful sanding-disc assortment with a good selection of grits, durable backing, and enough discs to handle many projects. The price is excellent for 100 six-inch zirconia sanding discs, and the organized grit range makes this an easy five-star addition to my shop.

Aggressive Sanding Discs That Cut Fast and Stay Attached

[Set name: 60 GRIT]
I picked up this pack of 6-inch sanding discs because coarse grits are consumables, and I would rather have enough on hand to finish a project than discover halfway through that I am down to my last disc. A hundred pieces is a generous supply, particularly for a grit intended for heavy removal rather than final finishing. These discs attach with a hook-and-loop backing, which is the system I prefer for random orbital and dual-action sanders. They are quick to install, stay firmly in place during use, and remove cleanly when it is time to replace one. That makes it easy to change discs without dealing with adhesive residue or trying to peel away a partially bonded backing. The abrasive cuts aggressively, which is exactly what I expect from this grit. It works well for knocking down rough surfaces, removing old finishes, leveling filler, stripping rust, and handling the early stages of metal or automotive work. This is not the grit for producing a final polished surface, but it removes material quickly and prepares the work for the finer stages that follow. The film backing is one of the more noticeable differences compared with ordinary paper-backed sandpaper. It feels flexible but resistant to tearing, especially when working near edges or irregular shapes. A paper disc can crease, crack, or begin separating once it is bent around a corner, while these hold together better under that kind of use.The no-hole design also works well for applications where dust extraction is not the main concern. It provides an uninterrupted abrasive surface and can also be used by hand on a compatible sanding pad when a power tool is unnecessary. The discs are suitable for wet or dry use, which adds flexibility for automotive and metal-finishing projects. They resist loading reasonably well and continue cutting without immediately becoming useless. Like any coarse disc, they eventually lose their bite, but the large quantity means I do not feel compelled to keep working with a worn disc simply to conserve supplies.Overall, these offer good cutting performance, strong attachment, and durable backing at a sensible cost per disc. They are a practical bulk purchase for anyone who regularly works with wood, metal, filler, paint, or rust removal. They perform the heavy work expected of them and earn four stars.

Fantastic deal on a huge assortment of discs!Fantastic deal on a huge assortment of discs!

[Set name: 80-400 GRIT, Set name: 80-400 GRIT]
Fantastic value in this box of 100 (!!!!!) sanding 6" discs. These discs are made of premium zirconia and come in a multitude of sizes: 80, 120, 150, 180, 240, 320, and 400 grit. These are the hook and loop backed discs that I find much easier to use than adhesive backed. Hook and loop fasteners never fail to stay securely on my tools. I have problems getting consistent adhesion and durability if they're not hook and loop discs. The product description says that these discs can be used for wet sanding. I haven't tried these discs while wet sanding, but they sure cut real fast and are durable. I use them on both my RA and DA sander. Using these discs really speeds up bodywork because they don't load up badly like other discs I've used. With a large supply of these discs in various sizes, these will last for a good while. In the box are 15 each of 80, 120, 240, 320, and 400 grits to equal 90 discs. The other ten discs are the less common 150 grit. Having this many different grit sizes and large number of discs in the kit assures versatility! The discs are a great price for a huge amount of discs in assorted grits. Who doesn't like that? Recommended.

yes. its worth it.

[Set name: 1000 GRIT]
I am using these on plastic headlight restoration work, and they perform well in that application. In my process, the 1000 grit stage is typically where I go through the most paper, since I follow it up with lighter finishing passes at 1500, 2000, and 3000 grit, and the clear coat I apply afterward fills in those finer scratches without needing heavy sanding at those higher stages.Because of that, the bulk of the actual material removal and clogging happens during the 1000 grit step, which makes the performance of this particular disc more important than the higher grits in my workflow. Compared to regular paper, these clog noticeably less, which keeps them cutting effectively for longer stretches without needing to stop and clean or swap discs as frequently. That said, there is a tradeoff. Because of how the zirconia grit is cut to resist clogging, it also tends to wear down a bit faster over time compared to standard paper. So while you get faster cutting speed and less clogging in the moment, you are trading some overall lifespan of each disc in exchange for that performance. For headlight restoration or similar finish work where the initial grit stage carries the most workload, this tradeoff is well worth it, since the reduced clogging keeps the process moving efficiently even if it means going through discs a bit quicker than you might with a different paper.
