Halloween Pumpkin Lights with Timer Led Battery Operated Candles

These are convenient LED “candle lights” that look like real light from flames because the light flickers the way a candle flickers. We do not carve pumpkins, but we do trunk-or-treats and have plastic pumpkins we set around our car that we will be putting these in and also a few witch cauldrons that we fill with candy then put these light on top. These are not rechargeable LED’s and require 2 AA batteries (minus 1 star). However, you do not need a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment (plus 1 star). (Because of this, the stars equal each other out and the rating is still a 5 star rating.) It does come with a remote, which is convenient so when the time comes for the event to start, I can quickly turn the lights on without reaching into every pumpkin and cauldron. I can also adjust the amount of light with the remote (make bright or dimmer). These lights also have a time built in the device; we will not need a timer for our trunk-or-treat but it is nice to know I have it if I need it. The light is small, a little bigger than the size of a hockey puck. The candle is well-made, easy to operate, easy to install the batteries and the control is easy to operate. These candles cost $18 for 4 candles (about $4.50 per candle) which is comparable to what I have found at stores and seems to be a good buy for your money.

These are a huge improvement over the inexpensive battery-operated tea lights I've used in the past. They feel are much larger, produce a much nicer light, and the flickering effect does a good job of creating the look of a real candle.The remote is useful to control multiple pumpkins. You can turn the lights on and off, adjust the brightness, and set a timer without having to reach inside a pumpkin or decoration every night. Using standard AA batteries rather than the little button batteries or USB charging - making them much easier to use.They work particularly well inside pumpkins, but I can see using them in lanterns and other decorations throughout the year. Overall, they're considerably nicer and more functional than basic LED tea lights and worth the upgrade.

I bought this set of flickering pumpkin lights because it's the first year I will be carving pumpkins with my toddler and I wanted to avoid using real candles with small children around. These are a much safery option while still giving that flickering candle look and I like that they come in a set of four so we have flexibility to carve multiple pumpkins.I love the remote feature, which makes it easy to turn all of the lights on without having to take the tops off the pumpkins every night and is much less messy overall. I really appreciate the timer function since I don't have to remember to turn them off before I go to bed. The lights themselves are not as bright as I expected, but I think to compensate I'll try smaller pumpkins this year so it should balance out. I don't know how much light it would give off in a larger pumpkin, it might make it a little too dim.The only drawback I really have about these is the battery compartments. There is a spot for a screw to secure the battery cover but one isn't included. With small children around, that's something I would have liked to see because it would make me feel better about the decorations the kids can easily reach which limits the usability of these lights in other decorations or holidays. Each light requires 2 AA batteries and the remote uses 2 AAA batteries, I can't speak to how long they will last but they were easy to install.Overall, I would recommend these as they are much more convenient than using real candles and will be easy to store year round.

These pumpkin lights are a must-have for Halloween! I've carved pumpkins for years, and I used to use those little individual battery lights that had to be turned on one by one. This is the greatest thing to happen to pumpkins since the carving knife. Seriously. No more scrounging for candles or forgetting to buy them. And no more having to walk outside to light them or blow them out. These four candles come with a remote (YAY!!!!) and you can set a timer if you're extra lazy like I am. They run on 2 AA batteries each and they last more than one night. If I had any complaint it would be that the lights aren't quite bright enough. If you have a large pumpkin, these lights won't have quite the impact that you're thinking they will. But they do look natural with a flickering effect. And the light is evenly disbursed. The price for four lights is astoundingly small given the perks you get. I would buy these again for sure.

We love to carve pumpkins and display them on our front porch every year. Many years ago, we stopped using actual flame candles for safety reasons. We have purchased other battery operated candles, but these are by far superior to any we have had in the past.The lights are perfect for Jack-O-Lantern lighting! I love that they only use two AA batteries, but the best part is that they come with a timer so that you can set them to come on and go off during the night, which will safe battery life. They even came with a remote control, so you can set them from inside the house, and you don't have to go out into the fall weather. Here in Minnesota, it can be freezing temps with snow on the ground by Halloween, so this is a wonderful feature for us.The candles produce the perfect amount of light, and you can even adjust the light level with the remote control. It offers a flickering appearance, so it closely resembles a flame candle. Very realistic flame glow.One thing I really love is that the battery compartment has an easy to remove door, rather than the ones you have to use a tiny screwdriver to remove. It is a push latch that works great. I did notice however, that there is a place for a screw as well, if you decide to add that level of protection. It also offers a secondary option to close in the event the latch ever broke.I cannot wait to use these! We always have four pumpkins too, so this is the perfect set for my family. I think these are a great product, and I hope they last for many years to come. We always remove our batteries after use to be sure to keep the battery compartment clean and free from corrosion.
