This is a 12-pack of puzzle-style gym flooring tiles that cover 48 square feet. They are made of EVA foam with a rubber top layer and are just over half an inch thick. I got these to lay down in my home gym space to protect the floor and go under my equipment.These are noticeably thicker than the standard puzzle mats you usually find at the big box stores. The interlocking edges fit together tight and make it really easy to adjust to the specific size and shape of your room. You just snap them together. The best feature is the extra rubber coating on top, this rubber layer actually helps absorb the impact when dropping weights and keeps the tiles from getting gouged or the flooring underneath from cracking. The tiles are also pretty soft and comfortable to lay on for stretching . Since these allow you to lay on for yoga or stretching, and allow for heavy weights, they are quite versatile.For the price, this is a really solid flooring option. You get the easy installation of a lightweight foam mat but with the durability of a rubber floor. I recommend these if you need reliable floor protection for a home workout space.

Looks great! Plenty of cushion! Only had it down for a couple days so can't say anything about durability! I'll try to check back in a few months of usage. If your looking for solid rubber, go check out your local farm supply store.

I, like many other people who prioritize strength training/fitness, invested a substantial amount of money in building a garage gym during COVID. I have virtually every piece of fitness equipment you'd need to get challenging fully body workouts in while keeping things fresh.That said since COVID I've grown my family and have little ones running around, so I wanted to build a secondary workout area where I can watch my kids while still getting workouts in. So I built a relatively small additional gym in our basement, and the last thing I was missing was some workout flooring. I have tried numerous puzzle mat options in the past and always found myself unhappy with something about them. In this case, I think they are pretty much perfect, especially at its current price point of $120 for 12 tiles.I'll list the pros, and single con, below.Pros:- Immediate pro I noticed immediately was there was no strong synthetic smell when I opened these, them being odor free was a nice surprise- They were really simple to put together- Looks really nice in your workout area, my wife and I both liked the black with dark purple flecks in it- Gives a nice comfortable cushion from hard floor to do workouts on, I was doing planks and different stretches on these without feeling the need to bring out a yoga mat- Surprisingly thick, when I initially read that this was a 0.56 inch option I wasn't feeling optimistic about it, but this feels perfect for the gym space I'm setting up- These are durable with heavier weights, I've used 50 lb. to 80 lb. dumbbells with these for different exercises, and I was able to put weights down hard without there being any damage underneath on the floor or signs of wear on the mats, I anticipate these being really durable- I love the portability of them in case you want to move them around in different areas, not all gym mats are created equal- Pieces fit together without any spacing- Value wise I think them coming in at around $10 a mat is actually a really good deal for its qualityCon:- When assembling it there was just one piece where I thought there was a minimal amount of overlap with the end pieces, but this was so minimal that if anything I think cutting a part of it off with scissors would be a good solution, and it wasn't even worth deducting half a star5/5 overall. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for high quality puzzle gym mats.
