I love twinkle lights and it seems they are harder to find these days. These Heyelux brand slow twinkle multicolored Christmas lights are exactly the kind that I like. The slow twinkling effect is soft and pretty rather than fast or distracting, and the multicolor lights look beautiful when they are lit. They give off a classic Christmas look with just enough movement to make them more interesting than regular steady lights. The strand is a nice length and I also like that they can be connected if you need more coverage. These will look great with my Christmas decorations and I am very happy with them!!

I'm replacing the incandescent twinkling lights with this LED one for the Christmas tree.What I like:1) The color is warm - Although it's an LED, the light emitted is the same color (yellowish) and brightness as incandescent Christmas lights.2) The lights twinkle - The slow twinkling lights is just right for a Christmas tree. My previous incandescent twinkling lights had a knob to control the frequency but the frequency of Heyelux is just right.3) It blends in with the tree - The green wires will blend in with the Christmas tree and looks just like the incandescent variety, but if you look closely you will notice the light is emitted from an LED vs the tiny wire of an incandescent light.4) It's waterproof - It's good to know that I can use this outdoors as well as indoors.What I don't like:A single lamp is a point of failure - The string consist of two segments; about 50 lamps on the left and about 50 lamps on the right. I tried pulling out of the lamps and a whole segment stops working. I dislike lights connected in series because of the issue of single point of failure. I like those connected in parallel where other lamps stay on when one lamp fails. They do provide 4 extra lights and 2 fuses. I searching for twinkling lights that do not have a single point of failure because that could be frustrating.

This is not exactly what I expected to receive, but it kind of works. These 100 LED Christmas lights, setting aside the twinkle effect, are kind of mid-tier quality mini Christmas lights. The LED lights look the part overall with nice clear glass bulbs, but the color temperature is just ever so slightly off from the better LED lights I've seen, like they are a bit too pink or orange. Apart from that, what took me by surprise is that there is no microcontroller directing the light effects, and there's no buttons or remote to choose from patterns. Each light is its own flasher, in a throwback to flash bulbs from vintage lights. Each light decides on its own when to go dark and light and they are kind of aligned when you first power the string up and then over time they become random. It's fine, but as someone who really likes to have control over lights, this is a bit of a loss, and you can't even choose to make them solid if you wanted to (unless maybe you swap the bulbs all out). The wire itself is good quality with solid end to end plugs and you would probably be fine even connecting the incandescent lights to them.
