I tested this item to free up desk space, but it solved another problem I hadn't considered---keeping my bags off the floor and out of the way of my robot vacuum. It clamps onto the edge of my desk in just a few seconds and felt secure without needing the included adhesive pad. Installation was as simple as tightening the clamp by hand, and the metal construction feels sturdy enough to confidently hold my backpack without slipping or shifting. It gives me more usable workspace while keeping my bag within easy reach and off the floor. Considering how solid it feels and how much desk space it frees up, I think it offers excellent value for the money.

Overall, this is a pretty good hook, and it does hold a lot of weight. I'm not sure I trust any hook to hold a heavy backpack like in the pictures, but this has a good twist mechanism to tighten the clamp. The clamp also comes with foam to help ensure a grippy finish.The whole item has three separate hooks. I find the small one in the middle is the best for headphones. It is easy to install and only takes a few minutes. I'm using it on an Ikea desk, which has a nice, flat surface on both the top and bottom. You'll find you want something similar for this to fit its best.Overall, this is good, quality materials, easy installation, very easy to remove or reposition, and portable if you want to take it with you. A great option for anyone who wants to declutter their work place.At $17, this is a good value for the money.

I’m really happy with this desk hook. It was very easy to install and feels extremely sturdy once attached to my desk. I use it to hold my backpack, headphones, and even a small purse, and it handles the weight without any issues. The multiple hooks are very convenient and help keep my workspace organized and clutter-free.I also like the smooth, rounded design because it prevents straps from getting caught or damaged. The adjustable clamp fits securely on my desk and doesn’t take up much space. This is a pretty good hook with the ability to hang bags, headphones, all kinds of things off of it with three different useful hooks. The hooks are also rounded which make it so if something accidentally gets caught it can be pulled free a bit easier. I do have one major gripe though, the included non-slip padding is a double sided sticky tape foam. This is both annoying and not really great for this purpose.First, I don't want a sticky residue that I have to clean off my desk if I move or replace the hook, but second these are not particularly good at creating friction to avoid the clamp from slipping. In my experience with desk clamps that use these, the glue wares out or the foam starts to break up and the clamp begins to slide. This should have been rubber, the glue in those holds better to the clamp on one side and the rubber is more resistant to wear and tearing over time while providing enough friction to not slip.Pros:-Multiple hooks-Rounded to help avoid snags-Good sized hooks for different items or many itemsCons:-Terrible non-slip paddingI think this is a great hook especially if you have quite a few items you'd like to hang off your desk. However the included non-slip padding needs to be replaced. This is a high quality desk hook for a bag that is durable and a very generous size. I work at a pavilion in a campground and the building is a bit old and more like a garage than what most people are used to working. Horizontal space is at a premium with how much stuff is already in there and this not only makes it seem like there’s more space for my stuff but it also makes it a lot easier to easily locate my bag. I have a tendency to put it in various places but having one dedicated space is a great time saver. I also like that it ensures my other horizontal and clean shelf spaces are left open for all the other materials I need for the day. I like the design and found it easy to clamp on to the counter. Once installed, it stays in place and doesn’t budge, it provides a super sturdy place not only for my backpack but the design allows me to throw a couple more totes and/or a purse on either side. I find it very versatile and like the powder coated surface which I free from any imperfections and perfectly smooth. It looks exactly like the picture and has an awesome weigh capacity and is definitely worth the price. I find it to be a game changer for my personal belongings and use it everyday. It’s also great that I can put my water bottle(s) in the side pockets of my backpack and then I don’t have to look for those either because I always know right where they are. It’s a great that when the season is over, I can then use it on my desk or in the garage and when I’m doing an activity at the tables that requires a lot of materials, I can bring it outside and use it on one of the pavilion tables to store materials that I’ll need during that time. Since it’s super easy to install and uninstall it only takes a minute to move it from one place to another. I definitely recommend this and it helps me stay organized and also helps when using it outside as a solution to materials that would easily blow away when left on the tables, instead I can just stash them in bags hanging from this bar and still have everything I need on hand. It’s a much better alternative than trying to keep the bags on the ground, this ensure they don’t get stepped on and also if the bags are light enough there’s still a risk of the wind moving them from where I placed them. This is a great solution for a variety of situations, I could also see if I wanted to hang certain items out of reach of children, I could place it on a higher shelf and be able to store items safely.
