They really are non-slip the quality of these anti-slip straps is amazing I can pick up a tape measure and wiggle it and nothing happens imagine using it on something you are having trouble open or you want to hold these are the tool for the job. I love how they come with two sizes as well one big size and one small size perfect for multi use.
