Very beautiful! It reminds me of my grandmother's house as a kid. It doesnt feel like cheap plastic, it feels like glass. The only difference from then to now, is that It does have a lock on it. To unlock you just turn the knob from the inside. Installing it just as easy as installing a regular knob. No difference, this one just looks better. You cant use it as a front or back door lock, only on interior doors. I feel like they should be sold in 6 to 8 increments because who wants to spend 30-60 dollars on one door knob where theres 8 doors that need one. They should all match! So whether its a good value, Im on the fence. It is a good door knob, I just couldnt spend alot of money on just one to let the rest of them un uniform.

I saw this and it reminded me of growing up in a old house and having these doorknobs on my bedroom door as a kid and how I used to call them princess door knobs. Since I have made my bedroom into a girly room with crystal ceiling fan, I thought this would be perfect on my old door to give it a new life. It didn't work out that way. My bedroom door is really old. Might even be original to the house. This might be called a vintage door knob, but it is for newer doors than what I have. BUT I couldn't bear to not use this pretty "princess" door knob, so I put it on my ugly bathroom door which is a newer door that doesn't fit in my house. This is very pretty, and it is solid in my hand. I love being able to open the door and feel that glass knob in my hand. It is gorgeous and once I switched form my bedroom door to the bathroom door, it didn't long to install it. Just switched out the current one for this one. It was pretty easy.So if you want a "princess" door knob, this is a solid choice. It even has a lock that blends into the plate. \The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 star is because it doesn't work in my old door and there is not adaption to be able to do that.

I'm currently upgrading my master bath to be a cozier, more inviting space with a turn-of-the-century/1920s theme, and this crystal door knob fits the vibe I'm going for perfectly (my folks house is from the 1920s, and the knob itself looks exactly like the ones that came with the house)! It looks amazing on the closet door next to my cream, lace post-bath/shower robe and matches the brushed brass fixtures I've installed, as well as the crystal door knob on the bathroom entry door.Installation seemed straightforward enough, but I did have some trouble getting everything lined up at first. I'm not quite sure why since it fits the hole where the old one was just fine, but it took me about 15-20 minutes total to remove the old hardware and install this one. About half of that time was spent fiddling with getting the knobs aligned, but this was my first time replacing a door knob. The second one I installed afterward took no time at all, so I think it was just a learning curve for me.The privacy lock works like a charm. It's just a simple twist to lock or unlock it from the inside, and if you ever need to unlock it from the outside, a pushpin easily fits into the release hole.I feel it's well worth the $35 price tag. It's a beautiful, well-made door knob and exactly what I wanted for this space.

Beautiful. We own a home from 1927. It was a rental unit for many years so we are “un-fixing” things done as far back as the 80s. One thing that is mostly intact (upstairs at least) is that we have nearly all the original doors and handles. They are beautiful. The one door that is missing the bathroom door which currently has one of those cheap all smooth white doors that were put up in the 80s. The doorhandle is even more offensive to the eyes than the door. All the original knobs are brass with circular nobs but this monster is a stainless steel colored leaver handle. I’m on oxygen and my tube gets caught on the darn thing near daily. I wanted to replace the door handle with something that would still lock for privacy (I have a teenager) and that would look like it was at least from the same universe as the rest of the door handles.I haven’t installed it yet, but it is beautiful and looks like it isn’t out of place in a home from 1927.It seems very well made, it is certainly much heavier than the current junky so I am sure it will last a long time and loot infinitely better. I also like the locking mechanism where my prior handle made it impossible to break in if the door is locked, this can be picked open by any allen wrench like tool into the little hole. My grandson locked himself in the bathroom once and it was a rough few minutes (that felt like hours) until we coached him through opening the door. Not only does this allow one to break in with an allen wrench, it also opens from the inside without having to do anything but turn the handle to disengage the lock. If we’d had this handle installed last year he never could have even locked himself in. Safety features like that and being able to get to someone if they fall in the shower or pass out in the tub, are worth everything!I highly recommend this door handle

The listing for this doorknob gives kind of mixed signals. The text calls it an interior doorknob, but listing pictures clearly show it on an exterior door. With that in mind, we've decided to take a chance on using this knob outside, in place of a deadbolt that formerly held.our garden gate shut.The gate that we installed it in is in the thinner side of the size range this knob is intended to fit, and it fit and installed just fine. I don't know how to think this knob would look in indoor lighting, but outside,.in sunlight, it's strikingly beautiful. The gold finish is nice and smooth and even, and the crystal knob itself is super sparkly. I wasn't sure how solid to think this would be, but the knob has surprisingly decent heft to it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this glass doorknob. It looks great in the listing photos, but it looks even better in person!! Seriously! The glass has beautiful detail and depth to it, like a 3d effect when you look through the center. It catches the light nicely and gives off that vintage-inspired look that I was hoping for!The knob itself feels solid and has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel cheaply made, yet the cost i think is pretty affordable for something lile this...and a coupon on top (at the time of review). The antique brass finish looks beautiful and timeless.I haven't installed it yet, but I appreciate that the instructions are clear, detailed, and easy to follow. As someone who isn't a professional DIYer, I found the directions straightforward and helpful.What I like most is that this hardware feels special without being over-the-top. It's eye-catching and still feels classic. I'm planning to use it in a children's room, and I think both kids and adults will enjoy this!

Not long after we finished building our home, I became very sick and many of the upgrades I had planned for our builder-grade finishes were put on hold. Now that I’m feeling better, I’ve been slowly searching for pieces that better fit my decorating style and help make our house feel more like home.I absolutely fell in love with this vintage crystal doorknob. The quality is beautiful, and the price is reasonable for what you receive. Unfortunately, replacing every doorknob in the house isn’t in my budget right now. Since we had already upgraded the exterior hardware that guests see, I decided to add a little elegance to a space just for me—the toilet room in our primary bathroom.The knob fit our door thickness perfectly. While I personally found the installation intimidating (I’ve never installed a doorknob before), my husband is a carpenter and said it was no more difficult than any other doorknob he’s installed.The funniest part happened right after installation. My husband proudly called me in to admire his work, show me how the lock worked, and hopefully collect a little praise. Unfortunately, while demonstrating it, he locked the door and accidentally closed it behind him! He immediately started looking for a credit card to try and shimmy the lock open. I casually asked if the package came with a hex key. He said yes but wasn’t sure why it was included since it wasn’t needed for installation. I had to laugh as I showed him exactly how to use it to unlock the door—a little secret I knew that he didn’t!Overall, I absolutely love this doorknob. The crystal catches the light beautifully and adds a touch of vintage elegance to the room. I only wish I could afford to replace every doorknob in the house with matching ones. For now, this little luxury remains tucked away in my bathroom, where I can enjoy it every day.
