Needed a reducer to work for vevor orbital sander. The one I got locally was an in between size. This kit connects and fits on everything. If you are looking to hook up to a shop vac add this to your cart and save some heartache. Plastic is good quality and value. Would recommend and will purchase again if it gets lost or sprouts legs on the jobsite.

You will probably find what you need in here. Some are made of more flexible plastic and they fit and seal better. One of the most useful is the stepped adapter, which I used to replace a broken one. I think the more flexible plastic will last longer. That remains to be seen.

I originally purchased a dust containment system for my saw that was designed to connect to a shop vac, but the hose on my DeWalt shop vac was just slightly different in size. That meant I would have needed to buy a proprietary adapter for the dust containment system, which would have cost another $20 and only worked with that specific setup.This universal adapter set solved the problem perfectly. Not only did it allow me to connect my shop vac to the dust containment system, but it also worked with my dryer vent cleaning kit. Between my truck, boat, shop, guest suite, and remodeling projects, I own a ridiculous number of vacuums. With that many machines comes a chaotic nightmare of different hose sizes.When I needed a wall-cleaning attachment for a drywall project, I realized I already owned two, but neither fit my current machine. Instead of wasting money on a whole new adapter, I bought this adapter set.It works flawlessly. The plastic is thick, rigid, and high-quality—it doesn't attract static dust like cheap alternatives do. Thanks to this set, I can now use all of my specialized attachments with my backpack vacuum without a single issue. Highly recommended. As a bonus, my boat vac can use all the attachments from my car vac and vice versa. This is a very cost effective solution.

Exactly what I needed. I have two vacuums that I have not been able to find adapters for to switch the heads on. They are both uprights that you disconnect the hose to use on the floor, but the carpet/floor heads that I have aren't interchangeable as the two vacuums are different makes. This has made it possible to swap the heads, and use other carpet cleaning attachments that weren't originally designed for the vacuums. One of my vacuums is to old to order new heads for so I have off brands and they now fit. I am pleased with these adapters and they appear well made. I think every person who has this need should get this set. I found the cost to be more than fair for this set and the value is super. Thanks for reading my review.

I had high hopes for these hose reducers/adapters, but ultimately ended up disappointed, not due to any particular problems with the product, but even with this number of different adapters I still couldn't find any which would actually serve my needs.What arrives is a plastic bag with the reducers (Pic 1). Inside (Pic 2) there are a total of six different adapters/reducers. Together they weigh in at 200g (Pic 3).In the attached movie clip I hope that you can get a bit of a better sense of what the different items are like. The two on the left of Pic 2 are made of a fairly flexible material, which deforms fairly easily to the touch. The next one from the left feels as if it's made of a similar material, but it's much stiffer for whatever reason. The three items on the right of Pic 2 are made of a stiff, shiny plastic.All but two of the reducers have multiple steps in diameter, and you're expected to cut off any parts you won't want in order to get a fit. In the attached movie, I show measurements for all of the relevant diameters - some measurements are external, and some are internal, depending on the nature of the item. I did it this way because if I just typed up a table it'd be hard to keep track of which measurements actually correspond to any given adapter. I apologise for the poor cinematography, but with any luck you'll get the information you need with a little patience. All of these items are tapered, of course, and I took the measurements at the end of the taper, so expect the values you see in the movie to be the minimum (for external) and maximum for internal measurements.The big problem with these adapters is that you need to get two ends which will fit what you want. In my case, for example, I found just one adapter for which the internal diameter fit the end of my shop vac's hose (next to left in Pic 2, top), but none of the sizes of the lower end would fit the dust port on my slide saw. I couldn't even find a combination out of the other adapters that would make it work. I had similar problems with the other things I tried. Of course, this set didn't even try to offer anything to fit my tools with rectangular dust ports (all sanders, as it happens).So, I don't have anything in particular to say about this product that's bad per se, but it's not going to work for me at all. I encourage you to measure your tools and dust collection systems carefully and see if this set provides you something that will work. Shop vac accessories like this are often very expensive, especially compared to the shop vac itself. The price of this set actually looks very good to me, as long as you can get something to work. Perhaps some day I'll get a match, but for now these fittings will just collect dust on a shelf.
