The single light faces downward, so great over a table of island. By trimming the braided wire, you can adjust the hight.NOTE: If you don’t have an existing hardwired fixture that you are replacing, then that’s a different project then what I’m writing about here.The installation looks pretty straight forward. Cut the power, remove the old fixture, mount the bracket, wire it up, secure the new fixture and power on!Mounting screws and wall anchors are provided as are wire nuts. Mo tools are provided you will need your own.If in doubt, hire a qualified professional. A pro can swap out an existing fixture in under an hour, way under.

I just love this pendant light! We hung it right in the middle of the kitchen and it just stands out beautifully hanging there. The brushed gold finish gives it a beautiful vintage look.One of my favorite details is the pretty crystal ball at the end of the stem. It adds such a beautiful finishing touch and shines in the light so nicely. That little detail really makes the fixture stand out and gives it an extra touch of elegance.My husband installed and it only took him about 30 minutes to get it installed. The instructions were clear and easy for him to follow. He had it up and ready without spending hours trying to figure everything out.The frosted flower glass design is gorgeous and looks even prettier in person. When the light is on, the glass creates a warm, inviting glow that makes my kitchen feel so much more welcoming. I love how the gold finish works with the rest of my kitchen without looking too modern or out of place.Even when the light is turned off, it still looks like a beautiful decorative piece. This is a very attractive pendant fixture and looks considerably better installed than I expected from the photographs. The glass is the feature that makes it stand out. The flower-shaped shade has enough detail to be interesting without looking overly ornate, and the combination of clear and frosted areas does a nice job of breaking up the light.The brushed gold hardware works particularly well with the glass and gives the fixture an older, somewhat antique appearance without making it look dated. It also looks and feels like a real glass and metal light fixture rather than one of the many inexpensive fixtures that look good in photographs but rather cheap once you get them out of the box.Installation is conventional for a hanging pendant and there is plenty of cord to adjust the height for the location. I particularly like that it uses a standard E26 socket rather than having permanently installed LEDs. That leaves the choice of brightness, color temperature and bulb style up to me, and if the bulb eventually fails I replace a bulb rather than a light fixture.With decorative glass like this, bulb selection makes quite a difference. A warm LED gives it a more traditional appearance, while a brighter or cooler bulb changes the character considerably. A dimmable bulb is probably the best choice if the circuit has a compatible dimmer.At about $70 this is not the cheapest single pendant available, but the glass and overall appearance justify the difference. It is attractive both on and off and does not look like a $70 fixture once installed. Five stars.

This is a nice lighting fixture. I wouldn’t quite call it a chandelier, but it’s too large and heavy to be a pendant light. It came well packaged, wrapped well to make sure the glass did not break. It’s heavyweight, so it could be placed in areas that get a breeze without swaying back and forth. Because it is heavy, it does need to be hung from something that can hold its weight. The cord length is adjustable, so it could go over an indoor entryway, or over a dining room table. It’s described as vintage, but I think it’s more 1980s-1990s. It looks like something that most of us grew up seeing in our aunts or grandparents house. If that’s your aesthetic, this is for you!

I just moved into a new home last year, and have been busy remodeling and fixing up a few things as the home is about 20 years old, but well maintained. I'm updating majority of the house, so lots of work. I have been working in my office area, and have been looking for a nice light fixture for my tray ceilings. I came across this vintage brushed gold crystal fixture light and knew it was the one that would be a perfect fit for my style. I adore antiques and the vintage vibes and looks, and was told by an indoor home designer that the retro vintage era is coming back into style & recieved a lot of people wanting this look, so that's a bonus for me:)This light fixture arrived as expected and packaged very well and protected everything in the box. My husband also liked the look of the light, especially the the crystal ball piece that rest onto of the light fixture. It really is beautiful when the lights shine upon it.Since, my husband was already replacing my old light, he said it wasn't hard at all for installation. He said, the instructions are easy to follow so follow them and won't have any issues.I am so happy to have this new light. It looks gorgeous in my office and can't stop looking at it! As an older person, I did pick to go with the higher white glow to see better vs the warm natural tones. It looks great in any tone.Overall, I really am happy I went with this light fixture and is a dream to look at. I've recieved a few compliments from neighbors and family so, perfect choice and won't be disappointed in going with this fixture.
