This return air grill is of the same quality you can get at an HVAC supply. The brown paint is smooth and flawless. Easy to install and true to size. It has the edge locks that hold well as my return is in the ceiling. It was packaged well adn came with no dents. Would recommend.

Good filter cover. Opens easily, closes and locks effortlessly. Fit the filters just fine. Wasn't hard to install either.

When we bought our house, I didnt realize how lazy the previous owners were till I went to clean our air return. It was disgusting.Rather than try and clean/paint/sanitize it, I decided to just install a new one thats not covered in animal hair and decades of ciggerette smoke.Enter this quality piece of metal here.Considering that 20x20x1 seems to be a standard size in most Havac returns (at least in every house/apt I have ever lived in) It was weird to me how anywhere I looked, this size was usually one of the more expensive.So, I was happy to find an affordable one.The fit was perfect. The only thing extra I had to do was run some caulking around the edges to seal it up.It looks much nicer than the crappy off white covered in smoke dust one that was in there before.Super easy to install. Just nmeeded a drill/screwdriver.Seems super durable. At least it feels that way. Not flimsy at all.Very happy with this pick. It made a huge difference just by looking better. It makes a bit more noise while running than the last one, but I think thats because the grills is tighter than the one I took out.

My home was built in the early 70's, and the air handler was given a 20x24x1 vent cover.Where I live, only 2 stores in all of town carry a filter that size, and they are way too expensive.I got this so that I could a) have a bigger selection of filter choices, b) allow more air into my air handler to avoid other issues.This is a good solidly built Cover, and it looks great.I am looking forward to getting this installed and improving airflow in my home.
