Compact size allows me to carry it easily in my tool bag. It fit my SDS plus demo hammer and I was able to smash concrete very well. The metal feels durable. Good value for the money.

Best Way To Prepare Old Concrete Surfaces For New MaterialBest Way To Prepare Old Concrete Surfac...

I am a contractor and my company specializes in residential hardscape construction. We build custom outdoor stone and wood work on the coast in So Cal.Most of our project ae remodeling jobs that involve adding new hardscape to existing residences. There is almost always some demo involved and we need to prepare existing surfaces for new materials like natural and artificial stone. This SDS Plus Bushing Tool is perfect for scarifying concrete patios and existing painted walls. Removing old paint and stucco is easy with this tool. It will also remove concrete slag, excess grout and mortar and level unever masonry surfaces. This tool fits and operates perfectly in one of my Hilti roto hammers in the "chipping / hammer" mode. This is probably the most efficient way to create a clean and level surface for application of new veneer material to floors and walls. This is a reasonable value at $20 for a quality SDS Plus Bit.

An excellent value

[Number of Items: 1]
As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I was impressed with the quality and performance of this SDS Plus bushing tool. I used it with my rotary hammer to rough up a concrete surface before making repairs, and it did exactly what I needed. The square head is well made, feels durable, and removes coatings while creating a consistent textured surface for better patch adhesion. It stayed securely locked into my SDS Plus hammer, and the solid construction handled the job without showing excessive wear. If you do concrete repair, masonry work, or surface preparation, this is a reliable tool that performs well and offers excellent value for the price.

An excellent addition to any tool set for your hammer drillAn excellent addition to any tool set ...

This fits in my DeWalt hammer drill and adds to my collection of tools. This tool is used for knocking down the high points on rock or concrete. The bit itself is made out of a very strong steel and stays pointed and rigid. I expect it to last for a very long time. It does a great job of smoothing the stone high points off.

Excellent Tool for Concrete Surface Preparation

[Number of Items: 1]
I picked this up for concrete repair work, and it does exactly what it's designed to do. If you're patching concrete or applying coatings, proper surface preparation is everything, and this bushing tool creates a much better bonding surface than simply grinding the area smooth.Used in an SDS-Plus rotary hammer, it quickly roughens the concrete and removes weak surface material, making it ideal for small repair areas before applying patching compounds, overlays, or epoxy coatings. The tool feels well made, and the carbide-tipped head has held up well through several repair jobs. It removes material efficiently without requiring excessive effort, saving a lot of time compared to trying to prep the surface by hand. This isn't something most homeowners will use every day, but for contractors, serious DIYers, or anyone doing concrete restoration, it's a valuable addition to the toolbox. Proper surface prep makes all the difference in a long-lasting repair, and this tool helps get that job done right.
