My 1984 fence posts are starting to fail, and these are doing a great job of keeping them standing. Calling it a temporary fix might be optimistic—it'll probably stay in place until another section of my fence decides it's time to join the party. 😂The steel is heavy duty, although the stakes aren't quite as wide as I expected.Installation tip: Get the stake into the ground most of the way before attaching the brace. It makes installation much easier. I also put a 2x4 on top of the stake and hammered on that instead of directly on the metal so I wouldn't bend it.Once they're in solid ground rather than loose dirt, they hold the posts firmly. They're not inexpensive, but they're much less expensive than a new fence, and for my purposes, they're working great.

I bought this fence post anchor to replace the wooden post holding my house number sign. It came with all the pieces I needed for the installation, which made the job pretty straightforward. The two pack mail post holders work very nicely. It made putting a mail post in the ground so easy without anyone's help. The mail post had a sturdy feel as you secured and planted the post anchors on opposite ends. I definitely recommend them. These post kits are SUPER-durabe and made with high quality steel. They feel like they're powder coated and are very resistant to corrosion. The metal is super thick and tough. They even come with bolts to drill these directly to the failing post or a post that needs reinforcement. I used these for my property in Louisiana where we have high hurricane winds and soggy ground most of the year. These definitely helped straiten out my back fence and hold it upright again. The post provides a bend in it so you can use a hammer to hammer it into place. I used a 20lb sledge hammer for mine. It can definitely take a beating. Just keep in mind you may want to use a wooden block on top of the striking surface if you want to keep the coating from chipping off. The bends are helpful in navigating around existing concrete fence post bases. I will ABSOLUTELY keep some of these handy for future projects.I highly recommend these if you have high winds in your area or are in need of fence repairs.

Highly capable and perfectly designed for usability, durability, sturdiness and structuring! This is multiplied by its use on a large sand mount mess where it single handedly installed a leaning tower of pagoda dream back into shape. I think I would have saved a lot of money of I had secured all beams with an anchor like this - and will def get more for future installs. Very stable, great value, easy to use = awesome!* Also the accessory kit is pretty handy too - even on its own. Hard yes! Recommend!

I needed to put up a sign, similar to the size of a mail box post, and this allowed me to do the job without digging any holes to put up the post. It's very easy to use: Simply pound this into the ground and screw your post to the part that's above ground, and viola....you have your post erected!I wish I would have had one of these when I put up my mail box post. This is a lot easier than digging a hole and setting the pole in the hole and pouring in concrete!And with this fence post spike kit, I was able to keep the full length of my post above ground. The steel spike is the only thing that needs to go below ground level. And now, thanks to this fence post spike, I have a stable and sturdy sign post that will last me for years.

This is a good tool in my fight to keep an old fence going until we're ready to replace it. There was one post that had to be removed from its concrete base, and it had been leaning against the fence unsupported. With this anchor, the post is now locked into the ground. Since we have harder, clayish Midwest soil, it was hard to position the long spikes in such a way that they wouldn't lean as they were being pounded into the ground. So the post does have a slight lean and a slight wobble, but it is reasonably sturdy compared to the way it was. Installation is straightforward, and it comes with the nuts and bolts and allen wrench needed to attach the anchor to the spikes. But I did have to ask my husband to hold each nut with a pair of pliers while I twisted the screws in. I also had to ask him to drive the spike into the ground with a mallet because I was only able to get it within 4 inches of the hard ground. Other than that, using this was easy and it provides support.
