These are fantastic outdoor wall sconces, if you're into the sleek, stylish and modern look. They weren't really right for our home, but they were perfect for fitting within the overall aesthetic of one of our rental properties. I already had some wall sconces outside, so it was an easy installation swapping them out. The lights are nice and bright for illuminating the entrance around the front door. But they're just so attention-getting, people aren't used to seeing modern lights like this in our area. Functions just as well as they look, will probably order more of them.

I ordered this set of outdoor sconces to replace my old outdoor lighting, which has not aged well over the past seven years. This set of lamps came with wall anchors and screws, but I did not use them because I wanted to install them in the existing J-boxes.The included "INSTALL MANUAL" is mostly worthless. It does not display or describe the substandard terminal housing used for mating this lamp to the AC wiring. The internal lamp wires running from the LED bulbs into the terminal are secured with hot melt glue. The terminal housing is made from a soft (and likely flammable) plastic, and the tiny Phillips screws are grossly undersized. I could barely fit 12AWG solid copper wires into the terminals, and the screws stick out almost all the way, allowing only a few turns of tightening. This lamp is almost certainly not UL listed or approved. I had to drill an extra hole into the hanging plates so I could mount them on the standard J-box screw offsets. When running the power wires through the hole in the hanging plate, the grommet sliced itself open on the sharp edge of the hole. Fortunately, I had a grommet of my own, which fit better than the original one that got destroyed.My biggest issue with the lamp design is the placement choice for the screws that secure the lamp to the plate. They're vertically above and below, and directly behind the main body of the lamp, making them quite difficult to access. Those mounting screws should have been put on the sides of the lamp and not on the top & bottom. I used a pair of forceps (with an indented ridge in the maw) to hold each screw in place while fumbling with the lamp to get it properly aligned on the hanging plate. You'll almost need three arms to get the job done, unless you've got the required tools and dexterity.I stuck with it and got both of these installed despite the difficulties, and I'm pretty happy with the way they look.Priced at $59.99 for two (during time of review), these lamps look great and offer great value, but be prepared for a difficult installation process.

Very good quality and attractive! My shutters are black and these match the front of my house very well. I love the fact that they are LED, which saves on electricity but gives just as good strength lighting as regular bulbs. The light pattern that's cast against my house is also very attractive, almost like light coming through cut glass. Very pretty!They come with easy to follow instructions and the installation was a breeze!

These LINSHINY outdoor wall lights give off a clean, modern look and light up our patio area surprisingly well. The 3000K warm white LEDs included are comfortable on the eyes—not overly harsh, but bright enough to illuminate our walkways clearly. The product description says the housing is aluminum, and it feels lightweight in hand, but should stand up to wind and rough weather. That said, once mounted up on the wall, you really can't tell the difference from a distance, and the aluminum weather coated build means you won't ever have to worry about traditional metal rust or corrosion outdoors.Installation was straightforward, and they’ve held up fine through rain without any water getting inside. If you're looking for heavy-duty, solid metal fixtures, these might feel a bit lightweight for your taste, but if you just want budget-friendly, sleek up-and-down outdoor lights that look great from the street, they get the job done!
