Keep in mind that this jacket is not something you wear going out to dinner on a chilly evening. It was designed for protection from welding sparks or brushing against debris or machines in a woodshop or machine shop. That it does very well. Thick cowhide covers the entire upper body. It is a very HEAVY coat. It was designed to be. The majority of my welding is outdoors in an unheated garage. Here in the northeast, it can get pretty cold and uncomfortable working outside. This is a thick heavy durable leather coat and it will keep you toasty. For as heavy as it is, it is surprisingly comfortable. You definitely feel the weight on your shoulders as soon as you put it on, it feels twice as heavy as other leather jackets. However, knowing you are protected in a shop environment makes that not an issue.

I'm very impressed with this jacket. The snaps make it simple to put on and take off quickly and it affords a lot of protection when welding. It is almost classy enough to wear out, but it is quite weighty. There are a variety of built in features like places to store pencils that are easy to access. I admit that this is my first welding jacket and I am by no means a 'welder' of any note, but I do have a welder that I use to make decorations for my Christmas light show.

This leather welders jacket seems to be a decent quality. It has big pockets on the front side. It also has pockets on the inside. It holds tools and pens on the shoulder and the front upper left chest area. It has Velcro around the collar and buttons on the wrist to make the arms two different sizes around the cuff. The leather itself has a nice soft leather feel to it. It also has the smell of real leather. The jacket is comfortable durable, and a good quality and nice material.

The JASIC leather jacket is made of genuine cowhide and designed to be durable. Double stitching is visible along all seams. The color is a bit more reddish than anticipated, but that added even more confirmation that the leather is real. Although it's made to withstand high temperatures, the jacket has a fashion forward apppearance, especially when the collar is adjusted to lay flat. I was searching for something for my grandson to wear when he comes to perform heat producing chores for me. While the leather is thick enough to protect him, it's sufficiently lightweight to work in comfortably. The jacket is a good fit for my grandson who is 6' 1", medium build with long arms. The adjustable cuffs with double snaps are truly appreciated since they increase the level of protection provided when closed for a tight fit. I believe the protective qualities make the jacket a good value; on a personal level, the added value is that I don't have to pay the price of a handyman.

I got this jacket for my husband to wear while working around the house and for my uncle when he visits and needs durable work clothing. It is made from genuine leather and feels very sturdy and well constructed.The jacket has several convenient pockets, including an inside pocket, which are useful for holding small tools or personal items. It is not insulated, making it a better choice for mild weather or layering over other clothing.The brown color helps hide dirt and scuffs, which is a nice feature for a work jacket. The stitching looks strong, and the overall construction gives the impression that it will hold up well over time.

Looks to be a well built, high-quality, heavy (enough) duty welding jacket. The cuffs and collar will protect me properly. All at a very reasonable price.It is big in the body, presumably to handle multiple body types. I am on the slim-side-of-average build, and chose a "large" size to be sure the sleeves would be long enough. Because the body is so big, the sleeves are a little long, but that is not a problem.

First of all, yes, this is actual leather. It feels extremely sturdy and well-made. Each of the buttons is nice and strong so I'm not concerned about them unsnapping while working.As shown in the picture, my wrist is still fully covered when my arm is fully extended. I have no issues keeping the cuffs inside my welding gloves. It has one internal pocket on the left side which easily fits any phone.The Velcro on the neck is easy and quick to adjust. It also folds flat to sit like a normal collar if you don't need the extra coverage.I'm a skinny 6 foot guy and got a large which fits quite comfortably.Whether is be for welding or metal casting, it's got plenty of maneuverability so I'm happy to be using it.
