Sturdy Fire Extinguisher Mount

[Number of Items: 1]
This mount is a practical way to keep a fire extinguisher visible and secure instead of leaving it loose in a closet, garage, kitchen, or workshop. The metal bracket feels sturdy, and the quick-release design makes access easier if the extinguisher is ever needed. It fits a small extinguisher perfectly.I like that it gives the extinguisher a dedicated place, which is important for safety and organization. Installation should be done securely into the right surface, but once mounted, it keeps things neat, stable and accessible.

Sturdy and easy to mount

I got this because our extinguisher sits on a ledge next to the basement stairs. It's almost been knocked down a few times so thought this would prevent that without taking up any valuable cupboard space in the kitchen. It feels well made amd is soild metal. It was easy to install and came with necessary screws. It fits a larger sized extinguisher than your typical in-home one but the straps keep my smaller one on there. It's a very bright red.

Heavy steel construction for the priceHeavy steel construction for the price

I mounted this in my garage to hold a 5 lb fire extinguisher off the floor and near the door. The bracket is made from heavier steel than I expected at this price point, and the quality of the powder coat finish holds up well against garage dust and moisture. The adjustable strap makes it easy to fit different extinguisher sizes, and the stability of the bracket material itself gives me confidence it won't sag over time. Simple to mount with basic hardware, and good value.

I have had a 5lb fire extinguisher sitting on the floor of my garage for years. I bought a cheap, plastic bracket years ago but was not happy with it is how long it took to release the extinguisher from it. Other solutions I have found either look extremely commercial or were very costly (or both). After ordering and receiving this mount I first made sure that it was a good fit for the 5lb fire extinguisher (which it was). I was impressed by the heavy duty metal construction and finish. Most importantly I was able to size the straps to fit perfectly around the extinguisher which also allow for a quick release if it is needed in an emergency when seconds count. My only issue is that the straps come adjusted to about half of the size they need to be for the 5lb extinguisher. After attempting to resize them while attached to the mount I finally removed them, adjusted them using the extinguisher body as a guide and then routed them back through the slots on the mount. After making one more small adjustment to each strap they now fit perfectly!I found this mount to be worth every penny. Not only is it well-constructed but it is not atrocious or industrial looking like some of the other mounts on the market. Using the included hardware I was finally able to get my extinguisher off the floor of the garage and on the wall next to my entry door. The extinguisher can now be easily accessed in an emergency and is safe from being accidentally knocked over.

Sturdy Fire Extinguisher Mount with a Less-Than-Ideal Quick ReleaseSturdy Fire Extinguisher Mount...

[Number of Items: 1, Number of Items: 1]
This fire extinguisher mounting bracket is, overall, a solid product. It easily accommodates a 5 lb fire extinguisher, and even slightly larger models shouldn't be a problem. The bracket feels sturdy, and the included mounting hardware should work for most installation applications. My only real concern is the so-called "quick-release" design. Instead of a traditional release latch, it uses buckle-style straps. They hold the extinguisher very securely, which is a definite plus, but I practiced releasing them several times and found they require a bit of dexterity to undo. That may not seem like a big deal during practice, but in an emergency, when you're under stress and trying to act quickly, I think it matters. Traditional quick-release brackets typically use a simple pull-and-release mechanism that can be operated almost instinctively, with no fumbling.Whether that's a dealbreaker is up to you. If you're comfortable with the buckle design, the rest of the product is quite good. The build quality is solid, the fit is excellent, and it appears durable enough to provide years of reliable service.

Well, for a number of years I have just had the main fire extinguisher in my house just sitting on the floor. Always better to be safe than sorry. It is vital to have one and especially in the garage. This is a great bracket. Very well made and super easy to install. You just got to pre-drill for the large lags to hold it to a stud. It is now at a comfortable level to use so I am a happy camper. It looks better too which is just a bonus. The included straps hold the extinguisher well. They feature a quick release mechanism which is so important under a stressful thing such as a fire. At this price point you can't go wrong and you can't put a price on security. Highly recommended unit.

Sturdy metal upgrade over the flimsy plastic hanger — nails the retention-vs-quick-access balance

[Number of Items: 1]
I got this specifically to replace the cheap plastic hanger my fire extinguisher came with, and it was exactly the upgrade I wanted. My 5 lb extinguisher lives in the garage right next to the door, where it kept getting bumped and knocked off its flimsy original bracket. This metal mount fixed that — it's now securely held right where I need it, and it stays put.Sturdiness is the standout, and it genuinely surprised me for the price. It's real metal, thick enough to feel substantial, with none of the flex or creak of the plastic junk it replaced. I'll be honest about the limits of that judgment — I didn't grind into the paint to measure the steel, so I can't give you a gauge thickness. But in the hand it gives every impression of being solid, quality material, not thin stamped tin.The finish is nicer than I expected too. It's a matte texture you can actually feel, not a cheap glossy spray, and it looks clean mounted on the wall. For a functional garage part, the attention to the coating was a pleasant touch.Where it really earns the rating is the retention-versus-access balance. With any emergency-tool mount there's a tension: hold the extinguisher tightly enough that it won't fall, but let you rip it free instantly when you actually need it. A mount that's too secure fights you in the exact moment you can't afford to fight it. This one gets that balance right — the straps hold the cylinder firmly so it's not going anywhere on its own, but the plastic quick-release buckles disengage easily in a pinch. That's exactly what you want from a fire extinguisher holder.Installation was straightforward — it comes with anchors, lag screws, and even a small wrench, so you've got what you need to get it on the wall. Fit around my 5 lb cylinder was correct, and the adjustable straps mean it'll snug down on a range of bottle diameters rather than only one exact size.Five stars. It replaced a part that was actively failing me, it's built far better than the original, and it handles the one thing that matters most for a fire extinguisher mount — keeping it secure but instantly grabbable. Worth it.

good quality and solidgood quality and solid

when I opened the box I was surprised how well protected the fire extinguisher was wrapped (see pic1) the care they took in packaging was just a reflection of the care they took in making this wall mount.1. when unwrapped you will find everything you need to mount it to the wall comes with nice solid bolds and wall inserts (see pic 2) the straps are in place and just need to be adjusted to fit the extinguisher2. once adjusted and in place the two straps hold the fire extinguisher snuggly and securely (see pic 3) the release lips are easy to pinch and release when needed (see pic 4)3. in comparison to the mount that comes with the extinguisher when bought while the one that came with it had a metal strap that was easier and quicker to snap open and grab this one comes with a full base and two straps that holds it more securely in place on the wall and less likely to be accidently knocked free. this wall mount is good quality easy to mount to the wall at a fair price
