I love Sibrille lamps! They are my favorite lighting now, and I have several of them in my house. This one has a slim pole and elegant lines, so that it can sit next to you without feeling oppressive. The neutral oatmeal-colored lamp shade is at home in almost any type of decor. It can be super-bright or very dim, and warm or cool tones, in various minor shifts and combinations, so you can create your perfect ambience. And it remembers the last options you set before turning it off, so you don’t have to start over again.The remote control has a LOT of options, including gradual increments of warm or cool tones, brightness, and a 1-hour timer. It also has many 1-touch buttons— maximum brightness, maximum dimming/bedtime mode, nursing mom (50% brightness in warm tone), laptop mode (a medium-bright cool tone), and reading light.Be sure to use the manual foot button attached to the power cable each time you first plug it in. Also, don’t lose your remote, since it is the only way you can change the settings. A really exciting feature I recently discovered is that the remote is magnetic, so you can store it right on the lamp post, where you can always find it! I place it on the thickest part of the post, for the most surface area and better adhesion.It was easy to assemble, except for briefly trying to identify a couple of the parts. Thankfully, there are not a huge quantity of pieces, and I could figure out any mystery items by context and elimination. The box also includes the lightbulb!The base is solid and heavy, so the lamp is very stable, wherever you put it.Note that it does not include the 2 AAA batteries for the remote, so you will need to provide your own to operate the lamp and enjoy the features.At the time of my purchase, the list price was $39.99, but occasionally they offer a coupon discount for even less! This is an amazing price for the quality and features you get!

I like the ability to have three different brightness, and able to increase decrease the brightness also, a little flimsy. Overall works nice for my usage.

3.5 starsFirst, the pros:- You can choose whether the light is warm or cool- Easy to put together- Small footprint (doesn't take up much space in the room)- Nice included shade- Turns on and off easily through a foot button- Came with the lightbulb!Now, the cons:- It's a bit wobbly (the thin post is, well, pretty thin, and the lamp doesn't feel very sturdy as a result)- It's a slightly awkward height for a living room (but would be better next to a bed, perhaps)We wanted a floor lamp for this apartment living room because there are no overhead lights, so we tried this one. Had we needed a lamp for next to a bed or in a smaller reading nook, this would work, but it just felt awkward for our purposes. It was a bit too small for our space. We ended up preferring to use the lamp on top of an Ikea cubby shelf (as shown in one of the pictures), because that felt a lot more substantial in the room.
