[Size: Ch-20- 1/2 JIC, Size: Ch-20- 1/2 JIC]
This review is for the 20-Inch Stainless Steel Air Compressor Jumper Hose. This is a high-quality, reliable hose for anyone working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems.Build Quality is of stainless-steel construction and feels robust and durable. From the hose jacket to the fittings, everything is designed for longevity. The 1/2" Female JIC connectors are machined precisely, providing a tight, leak-free seal.I used the hose with a standard air compressor setup, and it handled high-pressure air without kinking or bulging. The 20-inch length is perfect for connecting equipment that is closely spaced but still provides enough flexibility to allow some movement. The hose is flexible enough to maneuver in tight spaces, yet stiff enough to avoid tangling. Connecting and disconnecting from JIC fittings was straightforward. Fitment was secure and leak free, which saves time on setup. The stainless steel finish also makes cleaning easy and prevents corrosion, which is crucial for hoses that see frequent use in workshop or automotive environments.Overall, this jumper hose is a reliable, professional grade. It’s an ideal choice for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike who need a dependable connection for air systems. Highly recommended for its durability, precise fittings, and leak-free performance.I recommend this hose and would purchase again.

1/2 inch Compressor jumper line

[Size: Ch-20- 1/2 JIC]
This industrial grade compressor jumper hose is a effective way to bridge the connections between the compressor and other devices. Made from stainless steel to resist corrosion, heat and physical wear, it can help prevent work hardening of rigid metal connections by reducing transmitted vibrations. Rated for 720 PSI it will withstand almost all pressure requirements for a civilian-side shop. The terminations are 1/2 inch JIC female fittings, but the hose includes adapters for NPT as well. 360 degree swivel fittings on each end helps prevent hose twisting during installation and reduces the strain on the connections.I utilized this hose between a upright compressor air/water separator and a wall mounted hose reel to avoid running hard iron pipe - it was an easy and quick install which works perfectly. I recommend this jumper at the price point.

Amazon sent me this Industrial Grade Compressor Jumper Hose Kit for an unbiased review thru the vine program. It appears well made. The 1/2" JIC female fittings have the correct angle of 37 degrees and the threads are well formed. The hose and fittings are weakly attracted to a neodymium magnet, which is common for stainless steel parts. The hose is quite stiff and bending it I wasn't able to get the stainless steel braids to separate or kink, although having a much shorter hose length is mostly responsible for the lack of flexibility. I've taken a picture of about what you can expect from it when it comes to installation. If you have very tight bends, you might be limited by this, so consider your needs before committing. There were visible welds at the junction where the crimps and fitting came together. Not cosmetically great, but fully functional. It's just something I noticed. The kit included 1/2" NPT male adapter fittings with the male JIC fitting matching the hose. There were 3 white O rings included, but I'm not sure where these would be installed, since NPT doesn't use washers and JIC fittings seal on the taper. I'll leave the washers out of the installation and use teflon tape on the NPT side threads. You don't need to use teflon tape on the JIC side, because the taper is what seals the pipe. You can apply a little silicone grease on the taper to help seal if you'd like, since this will help it seal and prevent corrosion.I think this would be a good hose to use for a flexible junction between the compressor head and the tank, or if you needed a hose to help prevent vibrations from work hardening a normal copper pipe between any industrial equipment that pulses or vibrates a lot. It also simplifies the plumbing. You don't have to be a perfect pipe bender in order to connect two offset pieces.I think this kit is good value for what it's made to do.

Decent but a little off?Decent but a little off?

I don’t really understand what is going on with the two NPT adapter fittings it comes with; it is supposed to be ½” JIC but the nose is rounded. It threads in however it is not the form factor of JIC, the mating portion on the hose it self however seems to be to JIC specification and I have an AN-8 fitting which mated to it alrightIt claims to be 304 stainless steel however it looks like there is some surface rust on the welds (which do not look amazingly clean) but it is hard to say if it was just poorly cleaned up post-manufacturing
