Very high quality work glovesVery high quality work gloves

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large, Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large]
These leather gloves are high quality and well made. The leather is thick and sturdy. I’ve been using them for various projects such as moving rocks and metal pieces as well as repotting plants and gardening. I anticipate getting plenty of use out of these. I’m supper happy that the pack come with three pairs in case I misplace a glove.

A Comfortable Middle Ground Between Loose Work Gloves and a Precision Fit

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large]
I go through work gloves at a fairly brisk pace, so over the years I have learned quite a bit about what works for different jobs. Sometimes I want a looser garden-style glove that is easy to pull on and off. Other times, especially when handling lumber or rough materials, I prefer a roomier leather glove that protects my hands without needing to conform closely to every finger. Then there are jobs that require more control. For those, I have often used calf roping gloves because they fit closely and provide the dexterity needed for more detailed work. The problem is that snug gloves can take more time to put on, and they are not always the most comfortable choice for extended use. These cowhide gloves land in a useful middle ground. They are not as loose as a traditional leather work glove, but they are not as tight or difficult to put on as a roping-style glove. The leather is soft enough to flex with my hands, and it begins conforming naturally with use. That gives me better control over tools, fasteners, and smaller materials without making the gloves feel restrictive. The reinforced palms add protection and improve grip when handling wood, tools, or equipment. The adjustable wrist closures are also useful because they help keep sawdust, dirt, and small debris from working their way inside. At the same time, the gloves remain quick enough to remove when I need bare-hand sensitivity. What surprised me most is how well they have worked for home inspections. I have started using them in place of some of my ordinary inspection gloves because they bridge the gap between protection and dexterity. I can climb through attics, move insulation, handle access panels, and work around rough framing while still having enough finger control for more delicate tasks. They are also comfortable enough to wear for longer stretches without feeling overly stiff or bulky. Since the package includes three pairs at an affordable price, I can keep one in my inspection equipment, one in the workshop, and another available when the first pair is dirty or misplaced.I am giving these leather work gloves five stars. They offer a practical balance of protection, comfort, easy on-and-off use, and useful dexterity for both shop work and home inspections.

I'm Quite PleasedI'm Quite Pleased

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large, Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large]
I’m pleasantly surprised and pleased with these gloves. They’re simultaneously soft and comfortable, and holding up to legitimate work. I’ve been re-sheathing a section of exterior wall with OSB and have been wearing these while moving and installing the sheathing. They’re wearing in nicely and have not worn through or started to come apart in any way. If you’re doing normal shop or yard work I can see these lasting for years and years. This is my first time with “ball and tape” wrist cinches and that does add some nice fitment. If you just pull up on the tab, it can dig in sharply to your wrist when loosening, so watch out for that.As a comparison, at this time there is a coupon that makes the price per pair of these comparable to similar gloves at Harbor Freight.

Great gloves with reliable sizing so far

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Medium]
We were purchasing a different brand for around $10-$11 per pair but the sizing was inconsistent constantly and became so annoying that we stopped buying them. We were very happy to find these as the price is better in the multi pack and the sizing is consistent and they even seem to be holding up longer. My husband uses them daily on the ranch and one pair of the old yellow brand barely lasted a month and these after a few weeks of use are showing practically no wear.

Good "Stylish" Protective Work Gloves ....Good "Stylish" Protective Work Gloves ....

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large, Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large]
Great for this woman's DIY hands. These Palmorra Work Gloves come as 3 pairs for $29 - which make them an "ok" value for the money for "leather /cowhide" gloves - about $10 each - But still far more expensive than the big-box 10 pack of poly-synthetic /fabric combo gloves for $10 which I have historically bought. These leather gloves sport style, fit, feel, warmth and reasonable durability. While "looking" better than the bright-colored big-box store gloves which are colored with the big-box store logo color - wearing these gloves makes a fashion statement you can wear while not working. Unless you get a pair that is way bigger than your hand size, these leather gloves are considerably more sensitive to feel when doing work where you need to "feel" what you are doing.I particularly like the warmth that leather gloves provide in cold weather - while not being overly hot during warm weather. The adjustable wrist band helps keep dirt, saw dust and debris out.My parents where home-building contractors - and always wore leather /cowhide gloves.Building your own home as a modern-day DIYer, brings with it dozens of wood splinters and other hand /finger injuries - these leather gloves are probably the most "injury resistant" gloves a DIY home-builder can wear; balancing injury resistance while allowing freedom of movement and sensitive contact with what you are handling - regardless of whether you are framing or doing finish work. Albeit, no glove is going to provide 100% resistance to injury or wood splinter penetration - these Palmorra leather gloves are a good 80% protection.Would be nice if they had a tiny clip to tie the gloves together when you take them off - because you will inevitably lose one .....I prefer to wear these Palmorra leather gloves over all of my other selections of "cheaper" gloves while driving our large truck and hauling our 16' trailer to the big-box store to pick out and load lumber - especially in tough weather conditions. I keep an extra pair in my purse (when it is not overly crowded) for on-the-spot glove needs while out and about.

True leather, great deal!

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: Large]
These leather work gloves are exactly what I needed. they are soft and supple and conform to your hand just like they should. They have straps to secure them on when you are working. They prevent thorns and nettles from brushing skin and even protect- at least as far as they cover-against the allergy-inducing oils some plants give off. They prevented slivers and kept me going longer on a day of yard work than is typical for me. I really like them. They can be quite hot, of course, but I might even use them when shoveling this winter as well, so I accept them as they are. They really smell like fresh leather too, which is something I love about them. They fit both my wide, medium-small but hearty hands, and protected my husband's huge (6.5 foot) hands, so that is a major plus too. They don't quite stay well enough on petite, delicate hands, so that is something to consider for yourself.

Top quality leather work gloves - nice looking too!Top quality leather work gloves - nice looking...

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large, Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large]
These leather work gloves honestly surprised me. I am used to the leather work gloves you by at one of the home centers that are rough looking and feeling both inside and out. These gloves are soft and flexible right out of the package and look more like a set of gloves you would wear with dress clothes than a pair you would use to dig a hole or chop firewood.I wear an extra large in a glove and that's what I ordered. These, well, they fit like a glove! I consider the fit to be true to size since they are not too tight and not too loose. My fingers aren't crammed in nor is there any extra in the glove fingers. Their softness compliments their flexibility. These are a pleasure to use during my outside work activities such as cutting limbs & brush and doing general gardening chores. These gloves feature an adjustment closure that is easy to operate with one hand, both to tighten and loosen it. The palm has a leather reinforcement pad sewn into the glove at the area that receives the most contact with a tool handle. The stitching appears to be durable, and there is double stitching on many parts of the gloves, I assume the areas the manufacturer determined take the most stress while in use.At a unit cost of less than $10 per pair of gloves, this is a bargain you need to try for yourself. I am very impressed with this product and have no hesitation in recommending it to you.

Average quality and priceAverage quality and price

[Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large, Color: Brown 3 Pairs, Size: X-Large]
Size: XL is huge! I usually wear XL gloves, but these are massive. (See the photos. My hand is larger than average, so you can see these gloves are for fat hands.) So don't get XL unless you have long, fat fingers and a wide wrist. Quality: Soft and useable. Feel nice. However, because of their size, I immediately grabbed the band that is supposed to be used to tighten the wrist. It broke with very little tension. So that's not helpful. (See the photos for the strap that broke.) As mentioned above, it leaves the wrist really wide. Smell: When they come out of the bag, they do smell a bit chemically. That will likely dissipate. OVERALL: For three pairs of leather gloves, $28 is not a bad price. But given the quality and other issues, I would probably pass the next time (even though this was a Vine product). There are others that are available for a bit more but that have good durability scores. These are just average.
