Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Light for Patios

The outdoor ceiling fan is not the largest but does look nice inside our gazebo. Instructions are included and installation was straight forward with the included C-loop bracket. I used two self tapping screws to mount directly on one of the metal ceiling beams. At that point, I simply hooked the top arm onto the loop. The hook pins right on the end of fan pole using a C clip. There is an extension pole but not needed for my application. All the poles connect together using included C clips. The fan cord is 10.5 feet long and durable yet flexible. After plugging in, I noted the light came on immediately. This is a con to me as I had a photosensor on the power outlet with my patio lights plugged in. I searched the manual for a way to disable this feature but could not find one. Thus, had to rewire my outlet so that constant power remained for the fan. Still a waste of power with any type of power outage.The remote works well and does not require directly pointing such as older IR remotes. I did not have to do any type of pairing and worked out of the box. There are many options on the remote but intuitive enough not to need the instructions. The app was a struggle as the extra pamphlet was misleading compared to instructions in the manual. The QR code is the same between the two and installed the app easily (named HF Smart). The fan is auto added in the app. The manual instructions state to plug in and within five seconds click the paircode button in the app. I struggled with this at first as five seconds goes by fast. The pamphlet states to long press the Setup button after plugging in. I do see the light flash but paircode button still did nothing. Finally, determined the setup button is not required and just need to click the pair code button fast as possible after plugging in. The app is then connected with no indication. There is no beep or sound whatsoever. There is no bluetooth device to add in settings, just pairs within the app.The fan output is good with 966 FPM airflow two feet down and just off center. The output is not very wide and depreciates very quickly. At about five feet away, the output is ~800 FPM close to center and ~100 two feet off center. If you expect the fan to blow air on you, be sure is right over seating area. Otherwise, expect fan to simply circulate the air in the general area. On the remote, there is a reverse option (F/R) to suck the air up and out the top. The electronics is smart enough to wait for the fan to stop before reversing direction, which was fun to watch actually. I do like the variable control on the remote or six different preset buttons to select airflow speed.The light is a nice glow and never hurts the eyes looking directly. The bar going around is very consistent without any hotspots. I like the variability option for both lumens and color temperature. There are presets also.I find this fan to be very good quality and durable. However, for it's size, lack of wide airflow, lack of light control powering on, and confusing app setup, I believe is way overpriced. I could not recommend this fan to anyone.

The perfect outdoor ceiling fan with lights. The light is dimmable up to 3 levels and has 6 speeds for the fan. The power of the speed is good and it operates quietly. This is so perfect for summer days and nights. It looks really nice and has a nice aesthetic. It’s durable and sturdy . It is easy to install and the instructions are clear. It has a remote and app controlled for easy turn on and off. It’s waterproof and heat and cold resistant so great to leave outdoors all year round and not have to take it down in the winter time.

The package includes a fully assembled fan with an LED light, 2 extension pipes, a hook, an u-shaped hook, a remote without 2 AAA batteries, a wall mounting stand for the remote, pins to connect the extension tubes to the fan's assembly, fasteners and an instruction sheet. The power cord is 16.4' long and it needs a power outlet to plug in. There are two tubes to offer either 8" or 12" clearance from the ceiling while hanging the fan from the ceiling. The u-shape hook needs to be installed on the ceiling using fasteners, the tubes and the hook that are attached to the fan using removal pins. As it is plugged to an electrical outlet and the parts that are used to hang it from the ceiling are removal easily, this fan and light can be moved to another location to use provided the new location has the ceiling u-shape hook to hang it from. It is lightweight and the motor is quiet when running even at the high speed. The remote has 1 or 2 hour settings to run the fan continuously. This can be controlled by an app via bluetooth which gives 4 hour setting to run the fan. All controls come either from a remote or an app and there is no other switch. The DC motor of the fan is quiet; it is so cool the fan can be run forward or reverse direction. When it is run in forward direction, the force of the wind is along the edges of the fan and in the reverse direction it is concentrated at the center. The fan is enclosed in a wire cage which has gaps, so for safety reasons this fan has to have a clearance of minimum 7 feet from the floor. The fan and light are waterproof but the remote is not so it needs a custom-made waterproofing solution to use it near the fan. Overall it is an expensive fan and light combo which comes with several flexible features and controllable settings.

I absolutely love this outdoor ceiling fan with light. We have a covered back porch that we added to our house. We have not run any electrical for lights. This was absolutely perfect. It was very easy to install, and works so well.The light has two different rods that can be attached to determine how far it hangs down above your space. It simply clips onto the bracket that is provided. I will note that the screws that came with it sucked. We were screwing into one by fours and the screws literally kept breaking off in the wood. I would recommend using your own screws.It comes with the hardware to hang in concrete or drywall or wood.I love that it comes with a 16 foot cord. We were able to run the cord over to a few outlets that we have on the wall coming out of our house. My husband has been dreading, putting a light fixture out here for how difficult it will be for him to run the wiring, I am so incredibly thankful that this solved all of that headache.The fan has six speed, and you can switch the blades from forward or reverse using the remote. The fan actually produces a decent amount of airflow. It has multiple light options. You can click through the different tones of white as well as increase the brightness or dim it.I am so excited about this addition to our space. It is going to make nights on the porch so much more pleasant.Oh, and the fan is quiet! This is a huge win in my book. He does not overpower the beautiful sounds of nature enjoyed from our porch.I highly recommend this fan! Especially if you’re in a predicament without a box wired for a regular light fixture.

This ceiling fan has a lot of good features including an IP65 rating which means it will withstand most any weather but cannot be immersed in water. It comes mostly assembled and completing the assembly is a matter of mounting the fan where you want it and plugging it in to an outlet (which ought to have an 'in use' cover.) Install is easy if you have a drill and a nearby outlet. The fan body itself is also compact compact compared iwth a traditional ceiling fan--less than 2 feet wide. All hardware for most typical installations is in the box.Control is accomplished with either the included remote or an available app. This is not a smart device and is not controllable by any smart hubs that I am aware of.In keeping with the weather proof theme, the blades are soft, clear plastic or vinyl and are fully encased in a metal cage to protect hands. Speed and lights are controllable almost infinitely including full dimming and color temp (warm to white.)If you check closely most fans rated for outdoor use specify that they must be used under a protective awning or roof. This does not and for that reason alone, it stands ahead of most so called 'outdoor' fans.The fan is quiet in operation and is capable of throwing a lot of air--up or down--as the blades are reversible.The only thing this doesn't have is the charm of an outdoor paddle fan. This isn't a device that you can showcase or that will add something to your decor. It's a fan, it does it's job moving air.
