I used this transition strip to cover the gap between two different flooring surfaces, and it gave the doorway a much cleaner, finished look. I snagged this aluminum transityion strip in the color Black for my bathroom remodel. It came well packaged so there was no need to worry about the finish being scratched. I used 2 layers of tape on the end I needed to cut so that a slip of my saw did not mark up the finish at all. They included black screws to fasten it down. I am very pleased with how it came out and am glad they offered it in black. It accents our tile nicely. I just installed it a week ago so I can not comment on how the finish holds up to everyday wear yet but it seems to be well made and the finish does not appear soft. I am happy with I chose this transition strip.

This is a great looking transition strip that I was really needing. It was very easy to cut too fit. I have a concrete foundation so I was unable to use the screws to hold it in place, but was able to secure it with a little glue. I then plan to glue the screw tops on over the holes so they're hidden.This price is comparable to others of this quality.
