I once had a cat who enjoyed unraveling the bathroom toilet paper roll which was mounted on a wall dowel. Boy, would she be intrigued by this but might find it a challenge to detach and make a mess of.She might have had a harder time causing mischief with this holder as it is heavy enough so that it's both stable as a freestanding unit with pads to ensure that the stand doesn't slip on wet floors and easy to transport if necessary. As the description claims, it's a renter-friendly solution. It's intended to be appropriate for small bathrooms, which fits mine, which is close to closet-sized. It is handy without my risking hitting it when I visit at night.It comes in matte black with either a stainless steel or marble base (for the same price of about $38). It is very easy, as instructed to put together with only three screws to attach the main holder, the backup holder and the rotating roll part itself. (It also comes with a tool to do this, if you don't have a screwdriver handy.) No drilling is required.The backup holder has a four-roll capacity, which will keep you from coming up short if you previously stored the extra unused rolls in a cabinet. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this item and found that it appeared as it did in the photo and description.

This was much needed in my husband’s bathroom and I no longer have to do the reach my arm in the door thing to hand him a roll of toilet paper. He has extra rolls readily available with this stand. The weighted base keeps the unit solidly in place and it holds an additional 3 rolls. It was simple to put together and is attractive as well. Great value and saves me the arm reach around the door. Love it!!!

This Toilet Paper stand has a weighted base. This is great as it will not tip easily. The main roll of toilet paper sits at a height of approximately 22 inches. This toilet paper stand needs to be assembled which is not hard to do and everything is included in the box. There is a second rod that is used to store extra rolls of toilet paper. All together, you should be able to get 4 rolls onto the stand. The spring rod is easy to get there is enough depth for you to fit the fattest rolls on the market. The bottom of the stand has a protective pad. This helps to keep it from scratching up the floor and to help keep it in place. I love the idea of a free standing toilet paper holder as it makes access very easy.
