Knurled Brass Privacy Door Lever

I installed the lever on a 1-3/8-inch bedroom door with the stated 2-3/8-inch backset.The latch fit the existing bore, the knurled lever had a substantial feel without sharp edges, and the privacy button engaged and released reliably. The return spring brought the lever level after repeated use.Over the next several weeks of daily cycles, the latch return and handle alignment still felt consistent and the mounting screws had not worked loose.The solid feel comes with more weight than lighter hollow levers. In my installation, even through-bolt tension kept the trim square and the latch centered.

I replaced an older bedroom door handle with this one, and installation took about 20 minutes using the existing holes.The brushed brass finish looks clean and modern, and the handle has a solid feel when opening and closing the door. Nothing feels loose or cheap.The latch operated smoothly right out of the box, and everything lined up without needing to adjust the strike plate.

These are very heavy and well made. Almost too heavy. This is best for a heavier door as the weight and build of this lever will help open and close a heavier door. Install is easy and same as any other door handle. Took me about 10 minutes to replace my existing standard door handle. Looks really nice and elegant. Comes with everything you need. Some parts may not be needed if you already have a door lever, just use existing plates. Also adds a little elegance to my otherwise boring door.

So this is my 3rd Flirabbit door knob, why 3? Bc I loved these knobs so much I put them on other doors! LolThese solid heavy door knobs are soooo much better then all them hollow thin metal door knobs. These will take a beating!! Solid metal, heavy, yes they got some weight to them.They have a push lock button on them beside the knob. On the outside, just take a paper clip and push it to unlock IF need be. No need to try and pull it out on the inside, when you push the handle down, it unlocks.Love these door knobs.
