I ordered this to replace a dead outdoor fixture, and the results are decidedly mixed. Not the light's fault, though! It seems to be a really great, solid, modern-looking lamp. Not a ton of light, but enough to brighten up our porch at night without being a nuclear-powered glare machine, which is exactly what I wanted. The dimming is smooth and stepless, as promised, and the housing is sturdy and looks great.My problem is twofold. One, I have lapped siding, and this doesn't look as good as I'd hoped when mounted at an angle. I'll need to get an adapter plate to try and mount it more perpendicular to the deck surface. Secondly, it's a bit longer than I thought it would be, and because the previous owners of the house mounted the Powerwall externally right under the junction box (ugh), there's barely any breathing room. The plus side is that the light is really indirect, which I like, but I think it's just a little too big for this location. Which is too bad, because I really like the light! I may try to use it elsewhere on the house, but some kind of lapped siding adapter is a must.

I really do like this outdoor wall light. It has a very modern look to it. It looks elegant and refined. I'm really pleased with how it looks and operates. It was very easy to install since I already had a previous light hanging in that spot so I didn't have to run any wires or anything complicated. It hooks up just like any other light would. It came with hardware and good instructions.The ad and the instructions both say that this is a dimmable light. I have not hooked up a dimmer switch, so I haven't been able to use that function. But I probably will near future. Outside of that it is a very nice light. It's a beautiful fixture. It's very bright. It has a good warm light. The light is not that real Bright fake light that you get with some lightbulbs. This one is warm and pleasant not harsh.This light is waterproof. IP 68 rated so I am not worried about it getting rained on which it is. Everything has been working great and it looks fantastic to me. If you're looking for an outdoor light and you like the way, this one looks I say go ahead and buy it. It's very good quality. This is not a cheap low quality light Is a very high-quality well-made light fixture.

I really wanted to love this light because the build quality is impressive. It features a heavy-duty steel case with a very nice powder coat finish. The installation was straightforward. I also appreciated that they included extra screws—a small touch that costs the manufacturer very little but saves the customer a lot of headache. The electrical connections are also well-sealed against water intrusion as they enter the case, which gives me confidence in its durability outdoors.Unfortunately, I ran into a significant issue: the light flickers constantly when used with a dimmer (see attached video). If you plan on using this with a standard on/off switch, it’s a 5-star product. But if you need dimming capabilities, you might want to look elsewhere or be prepared for compatibility issues.
