This is a great little latch. It’s easy to install. I like that it has multiple ways to angle it when you attach it depending on the location of the door or gate you want to use it on so it fits well. It is very strong metal and made very sturdily. Works well. I like the black color also. Sleek and modern looking.

We have a pocket door to the bathroom that never really worked. Luckily we've never needed to actually lock that door. Not only did it not lock properly but the little handle ended up breaking. Now, here comes THIS replacement lock. Wow what a difference. It's very sturdy and works perfectly. On a pocket door, I will note, that this causes the door not to be able to fully recess into the pocket. But for my particular door that makes no difference, as there's plenty of room to get through still. On other styles of door this would not be any kind of issue. It's just a good, nice looking but basic lock that you rotate to latch or unlatch. Also, you can put it flat or at a 90 degree angle. It will work either way.This lock can only be used from one side of the door (or window), and to unlock it you have to be on the same side. And it's just a basic latch, there's no key or anything like that. It took 2 of us to install it, mostly to get it straight. I didn't have a drill bit with me and didn't realize the door wood would be so hard. So keep that in mind, you might want to predrill the holes!I would buy this again.

Although I was not able to use it in the place I intended due to a structural issue with my door that prevented proper installation, I’m very impressed with the quality and design of this latch. The weight, finish, and function are excellent. It is a handy item to have on hand as we continue remodeling, upgrading, and adding to our home. The price is excellent for the quality. Far better than anything at the local hardware chain store. I will likely purchase another one in black just to have around for some outdoor use that is sure to come up.

I needed a way to make sure our primary restroom's door could be secured from the inside. This was the perfect solution. With some slight modifications to the existing door jamb, and a 1/16" plastic shim, I was able to get this functioning perfectly. The look and feel is fantastic, and the 90 degree "locking" rotation on the arm is imperative to negate the possibility of an accidental mis-latch (see video). This this simple, versatile, and inexpensive latching/locking mechanism that just works and looks great.

This 4☆ review is for the Wocoe sliding door, double door, or right angle door latch. This latch can be mounted for use at 180° or 90°. This latch is made from a high grade zinc alloy with a multilayer protective coating on it to withstand today's environments. This latch can be mounted either on the left or right side of the catch. All the hardware needed for installation is included with the latch. I put this latch on the inside of my shed doors so I can keep them closed when it is windy or cold out. The latch is easy to install, taking only a couple of minutes. The latch appears to be very durable and i feel for the price paid you are getting a great value for your money.
