A decent quality chisel set with comfortable grips that helps absorb impact shock. Set comes with three types making the set versatile in use. Comes with blades pre-sharpened and holds edge pretty well.

These are great chisels. The points are nice and hard. The handle’s integrated protection are a must have when working with even a small sledge hammer. The length of these chisels makes setting the point before striking very easy, even with gloves on since it’s easy to see around the guard.

I decided to order the Rotation brand 3-piece hand held masonry chisel set since I do all forms of house and yard projects, but I only had 1 masonry hand chisel in my tool kit.I REALLY like the Hand Guards on these masonry chisels. My only other masonry chisel does not have this hand guard, but it sure needs it. LOLThe TPR coated grips are very comfortable on your hands and provide a firm grip on the chisel. This helps a user to keep the chisel in place when you strike it.The powder coating on the chisels will help to keep surface rust from forming on the chisels, but if you don't take care of your tools, rust will happen over time.The heat-treated CRV alloy steel is a good choice for these masonry chisels. The heat-treated CRV offers exceptional hardness and durability. I didn't see any damage to the chisels when used in concrete and land scaping blocks/bricks.I recommend the Rotation brand 3-piece hand held masonry chisel set

These Masonary Chisels are super heavy duty and very sharp.They have a good balance to the weight and the 2 sizes give you options.I love the hand guard.I used these on some stream stone and light faux stone on my house.Overall a great value.

I sculpt stone, but normally use abrasive tools. These ROTATION tools are my first set of masonry chisels. Love ‘em, though I’m still finding my way in proficiency.Heavy, solid. Crisp edged. The broad blade is sharp and narrow, to break on a long straight line. The medium tip for more psi force and greater maneuverability. And the point, for focused impact force, detail work, or to get things started.I love the huge protective flange on each tool, for the user with bad aim. …That’s me. That flange has already saved my hand from a lot of bruising.As I said, I carve stone. I usually grind and shave and polish fine shapes, …but periodically I need to create a natural, “raw” edge. These ROTATION masonry chisels are exactly the tools for the job.…I’m happy as a kid with a hammer, who just found a chisel. :-)

I'm not a heavy user of chisels, but I do have a number of projects around the home where I can use a good set. I have used them to clean up concrete edges, cut pavers and strip stone. Having the hand guard is a nice feature. As you are trying to make sure the chisel is where you want it and then strike it at the same time it can save you from directly striking your hand with a sledge hammer. The hardening of these chisels seems to be done well as after beating on concrete and stone for a while the tips didn't show any significant signs of wear as well as no mushrooming of the head. I expect I won't be able to wear these out with my level of use and am happy with the product.
