This is a nice little router bit. The quality feels solid right out of the package, with a carbide cutting edge that seems like it'll stay sharp through plenty of use, and it showed up fast and well packaged so nothing was banged around. The bottom bearing is the handy part, since it lets you run the bit along an edge or a template and get a clean flush cut that comes out the same every time. It handled everything we tried it on smoothly without any ugly tear-out.We're planning to use ours for edging and trimming on some furniture and cabinet projects we've got going, and it seems well suited for that kind of work. The three flutes leave a smoother finish than the usual two-flute bits, which is a nice touch. One thing to keep in mind, on the deeper cuts with the 1/4" shank you'll want to feed it slow and steady, especially in hardwood, so you're not putting too much side pressure on it. Take your time and it does lovely work. Happy with it.

My husband is a carpenter and this review is based on his feedback, where he said That he usually uses 2-flute bits, but found this 3-flute version to be great alternative. He used it for edge finishing and appreciated that the bit itself is very strong and that the edges stayed very sharp, even after a lot of use. The bit itself is small, but mighty and was compatible with his drill. $24.99 is a very reasonable price both for the quality and for the type of work that can be done with this bottom bearing trim bit. Everything in the description is accurate, and this is a great option to try.

I got this router bit off of the Amazon Vine program. I have a Freud top bearing flush trim bit, but wanted a bottom bearing one as well. I did accidentally opt for the 2" bit, and wish I would have gotten the 1". But, no big deal there. It's just a very large bit at 2" long.Testing it on a piece of pine, it cut quite cleanly and the bearing moved well along my template. For thick stock like the 2x4 I was testing it on, I would definitely recommend taking very thin passes until you get down to your template, as it required a lot of effort to push it through at more than a 1/16" or so depth.Also, there is more of a gap between the bottom of the blades and the top of the bearing than I would like. See my attached photo beside my Freud bit. You can see the smaller gap on the Freud. This isn't necessarily a deal breaker. But, it can cause a ridge to form at the bottom of your work piece if the bit is set a little too low in the router.The price is reasonable for what you get. Time will tell how well it holds up to use. Just keep in mind that, with tools like these, you get what you pay for. So, I am not expecting it to be as good as my Freud bits or other higher-end bits. But, if you are a hobbyist like me, and won't be using it daily, then it should last for a good long while.

Pleasantly surprised by this bit. I usually prefer 1/2" bits since they are more robust for most routing, but for a flush trim bit, 1/4" can be fine.I really like the 3-flute bottom design, and the bit received was sharp, with no chips or defects noticed on the blades. I did try it on some pine and poplar, and it did a fine job, with no tearouts. I did use it on a router table, as I find it easier to move the wood over a stationary router than The bearing rolls well, not hanging up or stuttering.Overall, the finish is good, and should hold up for a decent amount of time. Glad to have added this to my router bit collection.

These are good quality bits. The most important thing to realize is it is a 3 edge bit while most template bits are 2 edge. The 3 edges makes a smoother finish but chip clearance is worse so you will want to take less material off.Compared to a similar Whiteside bit the only noticeable differences other than number of edges are the Whiteside set screw sits flush while the Jgzui screw sits slightly proud. The Whiteside screw is 3/32 in while the Jgzui screw is 2 mm. The Jgzui bit has nice goldish paint which presumably helps with corrosion and hides sap while the Whiteside is not painted. The carbide blades look very similarly. The Whiteside bit has the part number printed on it, but the Jgzui does not. The Whiteside is made in USA while the Jgzui is made in China. The bearings look very similar.These are decent quality bits and if you want a 3 edge bit or the price is right then a recommended purchase.

I like the bit and have no problems with it. It is sharp and does the job it was made for. All of my previous flush cut router bits have been top bearing bits, but a bottom bearing bit is nice for different jobs. If you have a template to follow, you can put that template on top of the piece you are cutting and follow the template. I was tempted to rate this 4-stars, for the price, but I changed my mind. The issue is that I also got 4 flush cut bits that have the top bearing, in 4 different sizes, and those were $6 cheaper for 4 of them. The reason I changed my mind is that this seems like a better bit. For one thing, this bit has 3 cutting surfaces (flutes), and the cheaper bits only have 2. Also, the packaging was better, which isn't that important but usually means it's a better item, and it just looks like it is better quality. The bit itself should fit most routers and it does a good job.

I normally prefer spiral trim bits, but for what this JGZUI 3 flute bottom bearing flush trim bit is designed to do, it does its job well. I used it to pattern a fishing rod holder that I already had, and it performed great. The bit seems sharp and made clean, smooth cuts while following the pattern nicely. The trick to getting good cuts and making your bits last longer is to trim your piece as close to the original as possible, then just trim it.So far, I’m happy with the performance and the results. It seems like a good bit for the price, but we’ll see how long it holds up and how well it maintains its edge with more use. For now, it’s doing exactly what I need it to do and I have no complaints.
