There are several features I like about this light, one in particular is the illuminated area on the ceiling around the light that makes the light more appealing when it is lit. The side view is better than most LED flush mounts I have seen. You can look directly at this light without any eye strain thanks to its large shade and large LED light board.Features, and why I like this flush mount LED light:• Looks nice and appealing from any angle. The shade casts some soft light on the ceiling, which is very nice. Low profile. Closed shade.• Choice of five color temperatures from warm to cool. There is a five-position slide switch on the LED light board, which is clearly labeled for easy selection.• Dimmable if you already have a dimmer switch installed (the light does not come with a dimmer switch). I did not test this feature because I did not have a dimmer installed. This feature is nice if you plan to install the light in a bedroom or hallway.• Combination of 3800 Lumens and large diameter shade provide a lot of illumination, with less concentrated intensity and glare. The brightness is about 2.5 times the brightness of a conventional 100W bulb.• Good color rendering index. Shows object colors accurately and near their natural colors compared to sunlight.• No noise, no flicker.• Easy installation. This was one of the easiest lights I ever installed. If your ceiling junction box has screw hole spacing of either 2 ¾” or 3 ½”, installation cannot be any easier because the metallic base of this light has mounting holes for the old screw spacing as well as the modern screw spacing. The package includes hardware (anchors, screws, and wire nuts). I did not need any additional hardware for installation (a Phillips head screw driver was all I needed).I installed this light in a kitchen and we all like it.

I installed this 15-Inch LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light in my hallway, and it works and looks great. The light is bright, even, and does an excellent job illuminating the space without being harsh. Our old fluorescent tube hummed and made harsh shadows. This flush mount is far brighter at 3800 lumens but only pulls 38 watts. I use the 5000K setting for meal prep and can see ingredient colors well. The difference is obvious.

I installed this in our master bedroom. The back switch lets us pick 3000K, which is warm enough for winding down. Took maybe ten minutes to mount. Light is even and the dimmer works without flicker. Happy with the purchase.

I paired this with a standard dimmer switch in the dining area. It goes from bright for games to low for dinner. Full brightness is plenty for a 12 by 14 room. No buzzing at lower levels, which surprised me for the price.

Used this in the laundry room because it gets humid from the dryer. The acrylic lens is shatterproof and the housing seems solid. It has not yellowed after several months. The 2700K option is nice when I want softer light in there.
