What a great job was done with this. The color is soft, gentle, and subtle in its tone but not dull or pale. It's just right. The design on the glass have textures, dimensions with depth. It's not a straight flat plane surface. It's all just so peachy. Haha Similar to the hue in color this antique styled fixture contains. It's also golden appearing. It picks up hits and splashes of light in its surroundings. It's a pretty flush mount fixture. I think Brass is great and I always liked it finding it to be attractive in its asthetic appeal. The glass is not thin and it's not overly thick and clunky. It's just the right thickness. It's all suitable. It's the prettiest I've seen. Otherwise, I'm a very chandelier like person. This is a lovely, vintage inspired light fixture! I chose the brushed nickel finish, but was so impressed by the beauty of all of the colors that it was difficult to choose. The pretty glass shade has sculpted floral motifs all around. It is perfect for older and newer homes alike! It is flush-mounted and only about 7 inches in height, so it is perfect for standard height or lower ceilings.I like the Ditoon brand. I have ordered several of their lights and have never received one that I thought was not well-made. They stand behind their products. If you receive missing parts or damaged items, they are easy to contact and reply quickly.This particular light comes in packaging that is secure for shipping. The instructions are clearly illustrated and easy to understand. It includes wire nuts and white gloves so you do not smudge the shade or the metal finish. You will need 2 standard base (E26) clear bulbs for this light.Provided your wiring and electrical box are in good condition and installed properly, you should have no trouble installing this light. If you have ever installed a ceiling light before, you will recognize all of the parts in the box. The metal parts are sturdy and the shade is thick enough to last, but not so heavy that you cannot hold it up during installation.The fixture is highly decorative and well-made. The price is on par for the quality received!

I can't wait until I'm able to get this ceiling light installed in our kitchen!It's going to be great to go from a single bulb fixture to this one with two lights! Our current light is the very inexpensive builder grade light that you get in a six-pack at the home store. You have to try to balance the glass cover while unscrewing three screws with your other two hands to change the bulb. This beauty just needs one center knob removed so that you can lower the glass dome and change the bulb. Everything needed for installation is included. You get wire nuts and full instructions. I will DIY this unless we get an electrician over for a different problem and s/he's got time to put it in. This will be considerably brighter and better looking than my existing fixture. It's larger, so will block smoke the upper shelf, but that won't be a problem and it will look stately. The glass dome on this fixture looks built to last, the materials feel like they are high quality and they are very well made. This is such an upgrade for our kitchen!

This is a beautiful flush-mount brass ceiling light fixture with a 12-inch two-light amber thickened glass shadeThis would be an appropriate light for a hallway, kitchen, or front entrance at your home. The amber glass and this fixture are very heavy and very thick; the manufacturer suggests that you use E26-type lightbulbs rated at no more than 60 watts. The reason is that it will get warm.Whenever you’re buying LED lights, and they’re told, like in this case, you get 120 W of LED light if you choose to, that’s a tremendous amount of light; that’s probably more light than you want for most kitchens, hallways, or entrance-wise where you might place the light. The formula you should use in your mind. Is that an old-style standard 100 W incandescent lightbulb equivalent to a 9 W LED light in the kitchen? You might want to put 29 W LED lights in the spot in this fixture in a hallway you might want or an entranceway you might want to put 24 or 5 W LED lights in rather than more lights. You could put more lights at higher wattage, but then you’ll need to consider buying a dimmer switch and installing it as well if you don't already have one.By the way, a switch is always a nice idea, particularly in the kitchen, because I know I sometimes wanna sit down with my wife and have a bottle of wine late at night, and I might want to dim the lights before we do that. Sitting under 200 W of LED light might be too bright and not really romantic. For that reason alone, a switch might be a worthwhile investment.The manufacturer of this light has made this fixture very high-quality and very adorable. You also get very good value for your money with this fixture. It’s a strong, very well-built fixture. It’s 12 inches in diameter and 7 inches in height with a very heavy glass shade. The bulbs are not included, nor is a dim switch. When you go to purchase the bulbs from a store, you should make certain that, if you do in fact purchase a dimmer switch at the same time, you get a representation from the dealer that the bulbs are compatible with the dimmer switch that you just bought, or you will be bringing everything back.Installation is not difficult, but as with all electrical installations, there are certain steps you must take first. Of course, follow all the manufacturer's directions accurately and carefully. I also have three caveats or tips you may call them. I suggest you consider.First, make absolutely certain you’ve turned off the power at the circuit breaker control panel box for the junction box you’re about to work on. The best way to do this is the station a friend near the junction box you’re going to work on and hopefully there’s still a light of some sort that’s operational there have them contact you on via cell phone walk down to where the junction where the circuit brake control power boxes is located usually in the basement turn off circuit practice and find the one that controls that particular junction box. Your friend will tell you when you turned it off, just to verify it, flick it on and off three or four times just to make sure you’ve got the right circuit breaker.Second, when you return to that junction box, bring an electrical test device or a voltage meter and test each bar to ensure none of the wires are still energized. The one with electrical connections and wiring, you cannot be too careful. Prudence is very important, and sometimes you’re only allowed one mistake.Third many people don’t know how to use wire lock nuts a good tip for using wire lock nuts is to when you follow all the manufacturers instructions and connect the install plates and brackets appropriately and you come to the point where you’re taking the black wire from the house service side, which is 14 gauge single strand, copper and connecting to the black wire from the fixture which is multi strand copper 26 or 28 gauge wire makes it in the last half centimeter of insulation has been removed from the wire. Place the points of these two wires facing in the same direction and adjacent to one. Cover both points with the wire lock and turn clockwise into a firm mechanical electrical connection has been established. Do the same thing with the white wire and the same thing with the green wire which is probably connecting to a bear copper wire coming from fixtureNext, place the fixture base over the junction box and secure it with the two screws. The two number eight machine screws that were supplied. Install the two E26 bulbs you required separately, and attach the heavy glass shade, securing it solidly to the base with the screws provided.Now you can test your light and/or hopefully the switch for you mad boy. It’s a beautiful fixture that will be useful in many different places in your home, but the primary place I would put it would be the whole wire or kitchen. This light gives you good value for the money.

This ceiling lamp was packed extremely well. It is just as it appears in the images as shown here on Amazon, but it is better than I thought it would be. I found the design and texture of the glass to be lovely. The metal is nice and looks just like brass (the choice I made). I think the glass is of very good quality and isn't thin - it has a nice weight to it and not cheap looking at all. It looks so pretty in my utility/laudry room now, especially the vintage charm is gives off - so very cottagecore! I am extremely pleased with the way it looks, installation was easy peasy and when the time comes where I will need to clean it - a warm sudsy wash with soap and water is all it will take. I have to put the second light bulb in the light, so please note that there is only one lightbulb in the shown pictures. Super happy! Even my husband said that the light fits that space very well, so even he is pleased. Thank you so much.

This light fixture is beautiful. I ordered it to replace a smaller fixture for the 2nd floor landing of my stairs. My stairway and landing have a 1930s vibe, so this light fixture is perfect for that decor. The two bulb outlet is perfect for keeping my landing bright so we can navigate the stairs safely.This fixture features sockets for two light bulbs. I am installing smart bulbs in it to control with my Alexa device. It's large, durable and heavy, and just beautiful!I will be updating with photos of the final installation, but I wanted to get my review in as soon as I inspected it thoroughly. It came packaged perfectly with no chance of breakage. It appears to be thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed.I'm so pleased with this large heavy glass and black metal light fixture, and I highly recommend it if you have a home that can be graced with this lovely piece of Americana. It comes with a great purchase price so it's definitely worth purchasing!

Let me just start by saying that the light is absolutely gorgeous. I chose the brush antique brass color and it goes perfectly well with the chandelier in the dining section of the room and the handles of the cupboards in my kitchen. The installation is supposed to be pretty easy,but because this lamp is smaller than our old one,it turned into a trip to the hardware store for a paint for the ceiling . We should have bought clear glass ligh bulbs as well,because the ones we had are frosted and very visible through the glass of the lamp-in my opinion it will look much better with clear glass bulbs,not to mention that with only 2 of them it's not bright enough,but that is easily fixable . One small defect though-the glass part came chipped,but this is not visible after the installation,so it's not a deal breaker for me. Overall I think this a decent quality lamp,very stylish and vintage looking ,without being too much or too flashy.

Since there are so many different light fixtures to choose from when shopping online, I always first try to look into the brand to see if they have other light fixtures that have good reviews and ratings. Well, when I checked out the Ditoon Lighting Store on Amazon, I first saw that they specialize only in lighting and have a nice inventory of lights to choose from. And every light I looked up had great reviews written about them.And when the light arrived, I could see why. First, it arrived in professional packaging with every part well-protected in styrofoam insulation, which I attached a photo of. And the metal hardware and glass globe both felt thick and well-made. This is definitely not a thin and cheaply made light and it actually looks and feels much more expensive than its list price. Even the mounting bracket and wiring seemed well-made and I had no issues with installation.My favorite feature was definitely the glass shade. It has a real beautiful floral design etched in the glass. It looks really nice even with the lights off. The fixture also has a really good, substantial size at a foot wide. And it doesn’t drop too low from the ceiling at about 7 inches, which is exactly what I was looking for because I was installing it in a room with a low ceiling. I also like how the light bulb is completely covered and not showing. And the metal knob that holds the bottom of the glass in place also looks nice and ties in real well with the metal hardware above the glass.This ceiling light not only looks and feels well-made but it also looks beautiful as well. It definitely looks like an expensive, premium light. And the glass design is really nice to look at and creates a nice lighting effect. I highly recommend this ceiling light.
