Great product that I couldn’t resist. I used this on my boat to protect it from my 24V DC Trolling motor pulling too much power. Works perfectly and trips before the wires get hot when on high speed. Easily resets with a simple lever. No more worry about melted wires causing an even bigger electrical issue. It’s also waterproof making it a perfect safety device for marine use. Heavy duty and quality built. Excellent value!

I have 5 trucks that all run winches and I put these on all of them. ive only ever had 1 trip as the wires by the winch rubbed through to the frame and shorted. its one of those things you put on to be safe and hope you dont use it. the terminals are in solid for putting the wire loop on and has mounting holes for securing it to the inner fender like I usually do. the test button functions to trip it and when connected it cuts power like it should.With as sensitive as today's vehicles and electrical systems are with sensors on everything, safeguarding a winch connection is a must for me especially in the winter elements I deal with.Much better than a fuse I had a 150 amp fuse and trying to find one of those on the road was a nightmare so I switched all trucks to these so I can reset them if needed.

This is a nice tough unit good to be the main breaker for any RV or Solar wiring project. It's nicely built with solid terminals. I tested this on the bench using a transformer system to achieve high current and it didn't trip until 300A - though I was using low voltage AC(due to the transformers), and I may redo the test later with DC if I can find a big enough diode in stock(I work in industrial repair). The good news is it took the load without self destructing, but for now just don't expect a perfect 150A trip point.
