I got this kit to replace an existing 2-inch flush valve (similar to one I already have made by Danco), but they are not identical. This kit is remarkably complete: It comes with tools, clear instructions, and enough hardware to complete the entire job in one box.Be advised: this is a tank-off installation, meaning you will need to remove the hardware that holds the tank to the bowl base. That means draining the tank first, and having a place to safely set your porcelain pieces, the tank lid and the tank itself, while you are working. Plan ahead accordingly.I have not yet installed this kit, since it requires a bit of planning ahead of time, because, well, you know how people use these things.
