I ordered this dummy knob for my coat closet door, which is the first thing you see when walking into my home. I wanted something that would perfectly match my industrial vintage style, and the contrast of the black plating with the white knob really makes the area pop.The installation was different from my old knob since it required drilling all the way through the door, but this design feels much more secure and is very tastefully finished from the back side. The closet now closes firmly with the new wheel mechanism.The only downside is that my husband isn't a fan and thinks it looks like a peppermint, but what does he know about design? ;)It was a two pack, and since I only needed one, I have a second one left over. Maybe I'll find a vintage piece of furniture to attach the second knob to, maybe as a coat rack?
