After two decades, I finally decided to remodel my entire house. However, it’s not a huge project, so I am not tearing down walls or installing new appliances or furniture. Instead, I painted all the walls, put in new carpeting, and installed all new lighting and hardware. I also added new accent pieces and decor whenever I could. Prior to this project, my entire house had a real traditional look with all of my light fixtures. They all had that classic polished metal hardware with vintage crystal and glass shades. So, I decided to completely change things up and go for a more modern look by choosing lighting that had hardware with a black matte color and simple, straight lines, which is exactly the reason I chose this light.The light arrived in professional packaging with thick styrofoam insulation. I inspected all of the glass pieces and hardware and there were absolutely no scratches because of how well it was protected. I attached a photo so you could see. And all the parts, including the metal hardware and glass shades, had a good feel and weight to them. Nothing felt cheaply made at all. Installation was super easy, especially since it is not that huge of a ceiling light, and it was no different than installing any other standard ceiling light fixture. The light has a low profile, so it only drops less than a foot from the ceiling. But it’s not a tiny light and it is about a foot wide.And in the end, the light looked great. I love how the glass shades are staggered, which really makes it a unique looking light. And the black matte color and the straight lines on the glass shades are the modern look that I was exactly looking for. $35 is a great deal for this ceiling light, especially considering its quality.
