These are a good set of heavy-duty stainless steel wire brushes. You get two brushes with sturdy 10-inch beech wood handles, and they feel much better made than many inexpensive wire brushes I've used in the past.I put one of the brushes through a fairly demanding test by using it to scrub brick and mortar for a couple of hours while cleaning up a masonry project. The bristles are nice and stiff, making it easy to remove stubborn mortar residue from the face of the bricks. After several hours of hard scrubbing, the brush did show some wear, which is to be expected, but it was surprisingly little considering how aggressively I was using it. The stainless steel bristles remained firmly attached, and the brush continued to work well throughout the project. The beech wood handle is comfortable to hold and provides a secure grip, even during extended use. It feels solid and durable, with no looseness between the handle and the brush head. The product page lists these brushes for removing rust, paint, welding slag, and grill residue, and based on my experience cleaning masonry, I have no doubt they would perform well for those types of jobs too. The stiff bristles provide plenty of scrubbing power without feeling flimsy. For about $10 for a two-pack, I think these are an excellent value. They are well constructed, durable, and capable of standing up to real work instead of just light-duty cleaning.Overall, I was very pleased with these wire brushes and would definitely buy them again.

This Fewanland Wire Brush set was a great find for my husband’s DIY project on an antique side table. The table had sat in a house for almost 20 years collecting odors and even urine from the medically, disabled elderly person who used to own it. This wire brush has worked magic on scraping away all of the layers of ick on the side table, and left it in its natural wood color. There’s a lot more that these wire brushes can be used on, but for the moment we’re just using it for the refurbishment of the side table.

These brushes are really good quality. The handles are beech wood, they are smooth and comfortable in your hand. The wire bristles are stiff and closely spaced. I have a two story, metal stairway, which I have to paint. These are great for prepping the surface and removing old flaking paint. They also worked on the barbecue grates. These are very good quality, wire brushes. Good value for six, I recommend these.

Wider than standard handle, stainless for heavy duty scouring

[Number of Items: 6]
As an avid DIYer, I got these FEWANLAND 6-pack Wire Brushes (10-inch Beech Wood) because I am always needing wire brushes for cleaning.I typically use nylon brushes for light duty work, brass brushes for medium duty, and stainless steel for heavy duty, such as:Strip thick rustStubborn paintWeld scaleHeavy dirtDamp conditions (so the brush bristles don't rust)I typically pick them up as needed for around a buck or two, but I found these have a slightly larger wood handle which is more ergonomic.Like most 10 inch wire brushes, the bristles are ~1 inch wide. However this one has a little more should area, so the overall width (including the handle width) is ~1.1 - 1.2 inches wide and the handle is slightly deeper, resulting in a larger overall circumference. While this is a perk for a comfortable grip (especially for someone like me with an XL glove size), it can be a limitation if you're trying to reach into a tight spot. There are specialty narrow brushes for those types of jobs.Otherwise these are standard duty and on par with the other off-brand brushes I get. In my tests thus far (removing rust from an old metal shelving unit) they work exactly as I'd expect, just like other brushes. Bristles don't bend or fall out easily. All 6 brushes are identical dimensions. The only standout feature is the grip is a hair wider than my other brushes -- a nice feature but not something I'd normally pay more for, as I always have the option of adding grip tape if I need to. I'd assess the overall value as average.

Heavy duty wire brush that works greatHeavy duty wire brush that works great

I needed a heavy duty wire brush to clean the battery in the car and remove some rust so I ordered the Fewanland Wire Brush 6 pack. The set comes in a plain brown box but the brushes look heavy duty as soon as you open them. The handle is solid wood and is very comfortable in the hand. That's a good thing because when your putting pressure while cleaning rust, you don't want it to have sharp edges. The wire is solid and there was no flex when I used them either. If you need heavy duty wire brushes, these are a good choice. They're well made, comfortable and work great. Well worth the $20 for six of them.

Durable Brush for Heavy Cleaning JobsDurable Brush for Heavy Cleaning Jobs

I tested this wire brush on an old iron pipe with threaded ends and it did a decent job removing rust, grime, and buildup. The threads cleaned up reasonably well, but the bristles are fairly stiff and aggressive, making it a little too tough for detailed thread-cleaning work where you want to avoid excessive abrasion.Where this brush really shines is general equipment cleanup. It works very well for removing dirt, caked-on debris, and surface rust from tractor implements and other farm equipment. The bristles hold their shape and provide plenty of scrubbing power for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. It did not show any significant wear at all afterwords, bristles stayed put on the brush.Overall, it's a solid, durable wire brush that is better suited for cleaning larger metal surfaces and equipment than for precision thread-cleaning. If you need a tough brush for shop, farm, or maintenance work, it's a good choice.
