Beautiful Fall Wax Candles, Excellent Value and a Great Remote, Compared To LuminaraBeautiful Fal...

[Color: D3"xH4"5"6"-Maple Leaf, Color: D3"xH4"5"6"-Maple Leaf]
I use mostly Luminara candles throughout my home, and since Luminara was the first brand to make real‑wax flameless candles feel premium, I’m comparing this Raycare Maple Leaf Real Wax Flameless LED Pillar Candle Set set directly to them.I also love seasonal decorating from fall through early spring. The light changes so sharply here that adding warm accents around the house makes a noticeable difference. That’s why I ordered this set of three Raycare candles. They fit perfectly into the wam fall seasonal accents I add as fall approaches.⟶ WHY I BOUGHT THESEThis candle Set is a strong seasonal option. The trio looks coordinated, the design is natual, and the price for three real‑wax pillars is excellent. At $27.99 for the set, it’s one of the best values I’ve found for fall décor. Also, with flamelss candles, I don't have to worry about air quality, kiddos or pups bumping into them, or forgetting to blow them out at night.⟶ DESIGN & PRESENTATIONThe maple leaf pattern is well executed. It doesn’t drift into anything cartoonish or overly themed. It reads as a natural fall accent that fits that works with a tablescape or mantel arrangement. The three heights (4", 5", 6") create a balanced grouping that works anywhere.⟶ REAL‑WAX BUILDThese use a thinner wax shell than Luminara. Luminara pillars feel like solid wax; these feel lighter. Even so, they look good up close and they look excellent from normal viewing distance. On a credenza or mantel, they deliver a warm, seasonal glow without looking cheap.⟶ REMOTE CONTROL ADVANTAGELuminara does not include a remote, and with a set of three that can be very inconvenient. The Raycare remote lets me adjust brightness, switch modes, and turn all three candles on at once. The timer options (2H / 4H / 6H / 8H) are standard, and while the default 8‑hour cycle isn’t ideal for long dark evenings, the remote makes manual control simple. One click and the whole set lights up.⟶ FLAME REALISMLuminara still leads in flame movement. Their flame uses a multi‑piece plastic assembly that physically moves, creating a convincing flicker because the light stays steady while the flame element shifts. The Raycare set uses a single fixed plastic piece. It doesn’t move. The shimmer comes from the light brightening and dimming, not from a moving flame element. It’s a softer effect, but on a mantel or shelf I don’t notice the difference unless I'm looking straight down at the wick.⟶ DAILY USEI put these out as soon as September started. As the days shorten, they add a gentle glow that makes the room feel warmer. They’re easy to use and the remote makes them far more convenient than most flameless candles.⟶ FINAL THOUGHTSIf someone is committed to Luminara’s fully articulated flame, that’s still the gold standard, but expect to pay at least three times as much and go without the remote. To me, that more realistic flicker isn't worth the downsides for a something I use only a couple months a year like these. For a real‑wax trio with a refined fall design, a great remote, and a strong price, this Raycare set is an excellent buy. They’re pretty, practical, and add exactly the right seasonal accent as daylight fades.

Really pretty flicker effectReally pretty flicker effect

The Raycare flameless candle set is seriously perfect for Halloween. Every year we set up a table in our driveway for the kiddos to come get candy. I really like to decorate the table with a Halloween vignette and I try to include light sources so the kids can see what candy they are reaching for. Obviously real candles are a great visual effect but aren’t exactly the safest. That’s where the Raycare set comes in. The wax makes them appear just like real candles and the flickering is really nice. It really looks like a real flame. I love that they come in orange, as the table cloth is usually black. This set does require BOTH AA and AAA batteries. The remote doesn’t use the same size as the candles. Aside from that being a smidge inconvenient, I have zero complaints. The candles are great quality. They look super real. I think the set is a fantastic value. I definitely recommend them, just make sure you have both battery sizes on hand.

Perfect for Halloween

They do look like candy corn, right? LOLAt first, when I unboxed these candles, I was taken back by how shiny they looked. I thought they didn't look at all like wax, more like plastic. But on closer inspection, I realized that these are individually wrapped in a plastic film that you can just peel off. Whew! Once I did that I was pleasantly surprised. These do look like the perfect Halloween accent, but I plan to keep them around all year. I have many colored lights around the living room, but none of them offers as an option a nice vibrant orange like these do. I've tried them in different places around the room and they blend in nicely with the pinks, reds, blues and greens when I have all the lights going in the evening. It's a very festive atmosphere. The set comes nicely boxed. The candles use AA batteries and the remote uses AAA's. So this is a nice housewarming gift idea.I must mention that, for the price, I'm not impressed with the value as much as I would be if these were re-chargeable. For something that requires disposable batteries, I think these should be a bit less expensive.

Great ambiance and timer, but smaller and pricier than expected

[Color: D3"xH4"5"6"-Maple Leaf]
These are really cute flameless candles! The leaves look a bit fake up close, so they’re definitely better suited for a mantle or somewhere out of arm's reach rather than a tight focal point. On the bright side, they put out more light than my other flameless candles. The remote works reliably, and the daily timer function is a huge plus—they turn on automatically every day without any manual effort. My only hesitation is the value: at around $10 a candle for a relatively small size, the price point feels a bit high. A fair product, but not a steal.

These Raycare battery operated LED candles look like real candles. The candles are shipped well packaged in foam, wrapped in clear film for protection, and there are instructions included. The candles are light weight and the outer layer feels like real wax and can be scratched. Each candle is powered with 2 x AA batteries. I use re-chargeable batteries when possible, and these candles work fine with those. The instructions say the candles may not work with some re-chargeable batteries. The remote control is powered with 2 x AAA batteries, and this also works with re-chargeable batteries. There is an on/off switch under the bottom of the candles. When the switch is on, the candle light can be turned on and off with the remote. There is also a timer function on the remote that can be set to 2h/4h/6h/8h and it will turn on automatically at the same time every day. The light can be set to constant on or to candle-like flickering. The light can also be dimmed by using the remote. The candles are great for homes with pets and kids that can knock over live candles, or for other places where live burning flames can be a hazard. The color is bright orange and perfect for the fall holidays. I like the timer function, too. The candles are a little pricey at $30.00 for three, but they should last for many seasons.

I love decorating for fall, and these candles are such an easy way to add that warm cozy look without having to worry about an actual flame. The maple leaf design is really pretty, especially once they're turned on, and the different heights make the set look much nicer grouped together. The flickering light gives them a more realistic candle look than I expected. I also really appreciate that they come with a remote and timer. I can put them on a shelf or in a fall display, set the timer, and basically forget about them instead of turning each candle on and off every night. They're perfect mixed in with pumpkins, leaves and other fall decor, but I could also see using them all the way through Thanksgiving. Cute set and definitely gives that cozy fall vibe I was wanting.

Beautiful Fall Candle Set, realistic flickering effect gives them a candle-like appearance

[Color: D3"xH4"5"6"-Maple Leaf]
These Raycare flameless pillar candles are a nice way to add warm seasonal ambiance without the worry of an open flame. The maple leaf design fits especially well with Thanksgiving, Halloween, and general fall décor, and the realistic flickering effect gives them a convincing candle-like appearance. The set of three different-sized pillars looks great grouped together on a mantel, table, fireplace, or centerpiece. I also like the convenience of the timer and remote, which makes turning them on and off much easier than dealing with individual switches. Since they are battery operated and flameless, they can be placed in areas where traditional candles wouldn’t be practical.Overall, these are attractive, easy to use, and versatile seasonal decorations. The flickering flame and maple leaf details add a cozy autumn touch while eliminating the mess and safety concerns of burning candles.

I am a huge fan of this type of flameless wax pillar candles. Not only do they ooze warmth and relaxing coziness, but they are also excelent to have on hand in case of a power outage. They don't give off a ton of light but they are easily as bright as a nightlight, if not better. We had a power outage last month and we used one of these types of candles in our bathroom, on the light mode (not flickering) and we could see just fine. They are so much safer to use than real candles, which can be especially important if you have pets, as we do.The maple leaf design is perfect for fall decorating, as well as for year round display if you have a nature inspired or woodsy theme to your home decor. I have these paired with some birch bark candles and some solid dark burnt orange ones on slabs of sliced wood with a few pinecones scattered around them. Gorgeous as well as useful decor. The included remote makes these candle even more convenient and simple to use. You can switch from light mode to flickering flame, which is a bit too fast to be completely realistic, but it isn't annoying or a deal breaker for me. The flickering is faint, not blatantly obvious. And if you mix these with other candles that have different speed to their flicker, they look more authentic. The remote also lets you adjust the brightness of the "flames" (try doing that with a real candle) and it also has a timer that you can choose how long they will run before shutting down by themselves. They can run for 2,4,6 or 8 hours.
