This has been great so far. I like to work out on my covered balcony and bring some electronics out with me. This seems like it will work well for containing any minor ceiling leaks. Luckily, I haven't had to test it with a real leak yet, but we live in an older house, so it's well worth a few dollars to have this around. It definitely keeps any water from getting out under a medium-level spray from the hose, so I'm sure it will hold up to any but the most catastrophic of leaks. The black material that makes up the main collection surface is thick enough that I'm not worried about durability. It should hold up fine for as long as it's needed for a leak to get repaired.

I ordered the 5'x5' but the actual length and width was significantly smaller. I wasn't able to measure it exactly but I'd guess around 3'x3' or maybe 4'x4'. The main thing I like about it is that it comes all nearly packaged with everything you need, so it's easy to store in a locker or emergency kit and just about anybody with a ladder can put it up, although having at least two people is very advisable otherwise it will be difficult to get it level with the tube centered in the lowest point. Tbh, unless you have a specific need to redirect the water using the hose, I don't see why any old tarp with a hole in the center and a bucket underneath wouldn't work. But I will say that the quality of this tarp seemed better than the cheap 2-3mil woven ones you pick up at Walmart and I don't expect any leakage from this

Aloha!Now this is solid!I had been looking for something like this locally on island, but most of what I found was junk. I got the 5 x 5-foot size, you know the bigger the better, and it is working out great!I had a leak in my aluminum roof, and thankfully it was over the storage room in my garage. Still, trying to contain water coming through the ceiling is not easy, especially once it starts hitting the drywall. This tarp helped catch the leak and redirect the water before it could spread all over the room and cause more damage.This one is easy to set up. No joke, and I ran the drain hose outside and added an extension, so I do not have to keep emptying a 5-gallon bucket every time it rains, and it's been raining. This setup a lot more akamai, and the water drains away continuously.The tarp is good quality, the drain connection is solid, and the size gives you enough coverage to deal with a leaking area. It also folds up, so once they finished fixing my roof, I can store it until I need it again. Hopefully not!This is one of those items that is great to have before you need it. You never know when your roof is going to pop a leak, especially how the weather is nowadays.Good quality, came in handy, and it helped protect my drywall and everything underneath.Mahalo!
