This is a great solution to a few really irritating issues with a toilet.My home had a toilet that had two really irritating features. First of all, it didn't flush all the way without the flusher holding down the handle for the entire duration of the flush. This was in a guest bathroom where people were not aware of that quirk. This meant that guests would unintentionally leave things unflushed. My dear children would also leave things unflushed - although they knew they should hold down the handle. Nothing seemed to fix the issue. I replaced the arm and the handle. I shortened the chain. I bent the arm. Nothing worked.The second issue was that the water would run and not stop. This only happened when the toilet was actually flushed, but it was really consistent. So, we either had unflushed goodies, or we had running water.This corrected both issues!This is a great replacement for those problematic old-style toilet innard systems.This is compatible with 2" toilets, so be aware and make sure you are getting the right size.I've done a lot of repair work on toilets during my life, so for me, installation was really easy. If you have never worked on your toilet before, you may want to call that uncle or neighbor to help you out when you do.I highly recommend this upgrade!!

Review for: 3 Inch Dual Flush Valve Replacement Kit for One-Piece Dual Flush Toilets.Pay attention to the description. This is for a one piece toilet. I have a two piece, toilet with a separate tank. This worked well until I flushed it. Then water leaked onto the floor. It doesn't have a threaded part that holds the seal between the tank and toilet bottom. The black one in the picture is my old one. My old one would leak and the tank would have to refill every 15-20 min. I was hoping this one would work, but I will have to get one for a two piece toilet. The only issue, other than my mistake, is that setting the flush amount was difficult. The slides do not slide easily. In fact I couldn't get the low flush slide to work at all. From what I can tell from my experience, this should work fine on a one piece toilet.

I don't often see these valve replacement kits in the home fix it stores. I picked this up just out of a sense of caution for any repairs needed down the line. I hope I got the right size. I was at my wit's end with my top flush toilet. It developed a slow leak in the flush valve after about 3 years, causing the fill valve to open for a few seconds every ten minutes or so. I replaced the valve with a cheap aftermarket brand. Same thing, it leaked. I thought something was wrong with my toilet and was about to replace the whole toilet, a $400 project. I gave this flush valve a chance, hoping it would save me the money and time of replacing the whole thing. It worked. The flush valve solved the leak issue, confirming I had two previous bad valves. A bonus, this kit comes with a fill valve as well. The installation was easy, and the fit was perfect. Make sure your flush valve has the screw tension system to secure it to the bowl, and not the screw in type. The single and double flush feature works well. Can confirm it works on Glacier Bay one piece top flush toilets. I recommend.

This is handy kit to have on hand if you happen to have the less common ONE PIECE toilet with push buttons.Unfortunately I did not read the description fully as I have a 'standard' toilet where the tank is a separate piece that attaches to the base. My bad.That said, it does appear to be well made and using quality materials.

This worked fine instead of purchasing a new toilet. I have been using dual flush toilets for years and eventually the seal on the bottom started leaking. Not every time but sometimes it wouldn’t seal at all and other times it would leak slightly and you would hear the tank filling up when it wasn’t flushed. All of the parts fit well and it is easy to install. I did spend some time to get the water level where I wanted it. I do advise to clean the tank before installing the parts.
