Matte black dummy door handles

[Color: Matte Black, Number of Items: 2, Set name: Dummy]
This set of dummy door handles match my other regular doorknobs. We're going to mount these to our barn doors. I can't wait to see how they look but we haven't gotten around to doing it yet because my husband wants someone else to do it so the doors don't get messed up. They look and feel like good quality. They're dummy knobs so they don't turn or lock. They just allow you to have something to grab onto to open the door whatever kind you install them too.

I really like the elegant look of this Probrico scroll door lever. The polished brass finish gives my door a warm and upscale appearance. The scroll design adds a nice decorative touch without looking too flashy. It feels sturdy and well built once installed on the door.Installation was fairly simple and the hardware was easy to work with. The reversible design is convenient because it can be used on either left or right handed doors.I especially like that it has a passage design with no lock, making it perfect for closets and hallways. The lever moves smoothly and feels comfortable to use.The gold finish catches the light nicely and gives the room a more finished look.It looks more expensive than the basic door hardware that originally came with my house. The handle stays secure and does not feel loose during normal use.I think it is a great option for anyone wanting to update several interior door. This is a stylish, solid, and easy-to-install door lever that I’m very happy with.

Very easy to install and works well. A bit noisy when opening but tolerable.

Good quality but dull colorGood quality but dull color

[Color: Antique Bronze, Number of Items: 1, Set name: Privacy, Color: Antique Bronze, Number of Items: 1, Set name: Privacy]
This lever is weighty, finished flawlessly and works smoothly.I like that it is easy to swap the levers so it can be installed on either a right or left swing door. No worries. This does not auto-unlock (by rotating the lock side’s handle). The lock button must be turned to unlock it. Non-auto-unlock privacy levers are good when you have clever pets like mine. When this is locked, both levers freeze in place. Pets can’t possibly open the door on either side. And it's easy to unlock from the other side with a dime or knife or slotted screwdriver- anything flat. This lever color was named antique bronze; however, it’s actually antique brass finish, which is obvious in the pictures. (Bronze is more copper.)Unfortunately, I find that this antique brass color and finish is very 1970s. It’s lacking warm golden color and highlights. The antiquing has the same brushed coverage throughout. It’s not darker in the recesses, so there’s no depth. The surface is matte, which makes it even duller. It looks almost gray next to all my varied real brass vintage knobs and even Schlage and other brand antique brass finished steel and zinc knobs in my home. It’s a good affordable budget lever that comes in other colors too. This color might work for some, just not for me.

This review is for a 6 pack of indoor scroll privacy door lever in Antique Bronze.I'm happy with the look and function of these doorknobs. The finish is well done in a matte to satin finish. An improvement over the shiny doorknobs. The mechanism for locking and opening all work well.Switching from the old to the new was quick and easy. The only difference is that the old had just a thin round faceplate and not a rectangular one. So, I have to go back to cut those out of the wood and recess it into the door. When we were installing the originals, I remember thinking how odd it was that it was just a tiny round faceplate and not a full rectangle which offers much better stability. This is one of the reasons for the change. Several of the door latch bolts get caught up on the little round faceplate. When that happens, the door doesn't latch. This is a problem that is easily rectified with this new handset.I also like the lever style. It is easier for someone with arthritis or simply with their hands full to work. It is more attractive as well. These aren't as large as some I've had in the past. But they are appropriately sized for our home. The measurements are:4.5" for the lever hand area with a total length of 5.5"The round rosette plate is 2.5" in diameter. The faceplate is 1" wide and 2.25" tallThe strike plate is 2.25" tallI also like that these are set up to work for both left and right hand opening. Meaning you can simply change the way the lever is set on the doorknob. I demonstrated this in the photos. If you have never changed a doorknob of this style before, there are instructions that can help you through the process. This simple and affordable update can change the entire atmosphere of the home. I'm very happy with the scroll lever style doorknobs.

Easy to Install, Sturdy & Smooth PullEasy to Install, Sturdy & Smooth Pull

[Color: Polished Brass, Number of Items: 1, Set name: Privacy, Color: Polished Brass, Number of Items: 1, Set name: Privacy]
This is a great looking door handle. I realized as I was setting it up that there is a rectangular piece that secures the bolt in place... and my door did not have that. Luckily, there were comprehensive instructions that explain how to install it by cutting out a hole in the side of the door with a chisel, which was surprisingly easy, so it is easily adaptable. The handle can also be switched to the other direction, if you are wanting it to be flipped. It is very versitile and would likely work for any door (some doors may require a bit more work if you are not replacing identical internal hardware - but that is likely the case for any older door). It was overall, a quite simple and easy install. I need to retouch the paint on the door, but otherwise it looks great. It is a very smooth pull, feels sturdy, and latches nicely. It replaced a knob and it looks and works so much better. Great value.

These are excellent high-quality door handles. I got mine to replace the existing door handles we have. They are perfect for the style I wanted. We are fixing up a 1930’s farmhouse, and it has French doors, closets, and hallways. I wanted to be able to close areas off when I wanted and then have easy access to the room as needed. The handles can be installed in left or right directions and fit standard door sizes. The door handles are in excellent condition and boxed so they are not scratched and have all the installation instructions and parts included. The instructions included give directions for both new and replacement installation. The box contains a message that if anything at all is unsatisfactory, to contact the company so that lets me know customer service is very important to them. These passage door handles come in several finishes and quantities. I very highly recommend them. I just wished our project was moving forward as fast as these were delivered.

Really nice latches - wish they offered a drive-in latch style

I used Probrico door knobs at my mom's house and was really impressed with the quality, so I ordered these levers to replace all the interior hardware in my newly remodeled home. The door hardware is one of the last finishing touches, and I was excited to make the switch.Unfortunately, my existing doors use older drive-in style latches, which are surprisingly difficult to find these days. I had hoped I could simply swap the handles and keep the existing latches, but the mechanisms aren't compatible. That's not a fault of these door levers—it's entirely due to my older doors. It just means I'll have to chisel out the latch openings on every door to install the included adjustable latch, which isn't a project I'm looking forward to. I may still see if I can find a compatible drive-in latch before committing. That said, these levers are beautiful and feel very well made. The zinc alloy construction gives them a solid, durable feel, the finish looks great, and installation would otherwise be straightforward with all the necessary hardware included. I suspect I'll end up using them anyway because I really do like the quality.Probrico - if you're listening, please offer a drive-in latch option or an adapter. It would make upgrading older homes so much easier!
