...but I had to give it away. Make sure you measure first. The only reason mine is not hanging on my patio door is that I did not measure, and it's about 4 inches from being wide enough for my patio. Installation is relatively easy, and it works great for leaving your patio door open and not letting the bugs in. I would really have liked it in the fall.

This mesh screen door is terrific. My eight-year-old is constantly hopping out to the deck to let out the cats, talk to neighborhood kids who come to visit, or do other kid stuff. I'm tired of shouting to shut the door so the flies and mosquitoes don't come in. Argh.I didn't use the tape for this. I used my staple gun and stapled it around my outside door frame, which it fit perfectly. The magnet is strong and snaps right into place. It's easy to open and close. It closes automatically if someone forgets to tend to it, which is terrific if you have kids. Only kind of weird thing is that it magnetizes to my door sometimes, but you just push the parts back toward each other and they snap back into place. Love it.

Truly a "tool-free quick installation". Very easy to install, it took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. You absolutely MUST clean your door frame first. I wiped down the wood frame with rubbing alcohol to get all the dust and pollen off. If you skip this, the sticky backing of the tape will peel off.The mesh itself doesn't feel like that cheap, papery screen material. It’s got a bit of a fiberglass-style stiffness to it. After a week of the kids running through it at full speed, there are no tears, snags, or fraying edges. The full-length magnets down the middle are fantastic. They are sewn into the seam, so they don't slide around. The moment someone walk through, the two halves instantly swing back together and click shut with a satisfying snap. I don't have to turn around and manually adjust it; it just seals itself. We had a pretty breezy afternoon yesterday, and I was worried the wind would just blow the screen wide open. However, they put some little weighted sticks at the very bottom of the screen. Those extra ounces of gravity actually keep the bottom from flapping around too much, keeping the seal tight even in a moderate breeze. As for bugs, the mesh is incredibly fine. We haven't had a single mosquito or fly make it into the house since I hung it up, but you still get a great cross-breeze.

We love this screen. This mesh screen door is a must in our house during the warmer months. I cannot tolerate bugs in the house and this keeps them all out! The magnetic feature really makes the difference. It is extremely easy to install. The directions mention measuring and cutting but thankfully I didn't need to do any of that. I just hung it up on the door frame and it fit perfectly. I used the Velcro it comes with but the most useful component was that it comes with tacks to adhere to the door frame. The material is durable and this is a high-quality product. An extra bonus is that the mesh creates a privacy screen and when the front door is open I don't have to feel like we are on display! I was worried this would look a bit tacky or be a nuisance when we are coming and going but both of those have not been an issue!

Installation is easyMy biggest recommendation is to measure your doorway carefully before ordering and pay attention to the available frame space. In my case, the top frame wasn't wide enough for the included hook-and-loop tape, which is wider on the top than on the sides. We were able to make it work, but it took a little adjustment.Also, if your doorway doesn't have a full frame at the bottom, be sure to account for that when measuring.The magnets work, but I wish they were a little stronger. They don't always automatically snap shut on their own. Often, you need to guide the two sides closer together before the magnets catch and fully close the opening.Overall, it does its job and has been useful, but stronger magnets and clearer sizing guidance would make it even better.

We have a 2-story cabin in the mountains. It can get very warm in the summer, and our strategy to keep the place comfortable is to close up during the day and open windows at night to let in the cool mountain air. One upstairs bedroom has a deck with a door but no screen, and we have always wanted to open this door at night; but, during the warm season, flying insects and bats are abundant. The deck is configured in a way that makes a conventional screen door impractical, and I have been discouraged by the price of a retractable screen. I ordered the Yakoon magnetic screen door as an alternative.The product itself is constructed of attractive, sturdy mesh fabric. The solid borders are attached with consistent stitching. It seems built to last. It uses a combination of hook-and-loop fastener material and push pins to attach to the door frame. It is held closed in the center with magnets, which are strong and well-aligned, leaving no gaps. I followed the enclosed instructions closely, and it went up pretty easily. Even being careful, I required only about 45 minutes to install it. Tips: take care to perfectly align the hook-and-loop material to avoid gaps. Make sure the magnets are perfectly aligned and the mesh is reasonably taut as you attach the sides.The lighting in my images suggest more wrinkle in the fabric than there really is. It actually looks pretty tight. I am hopeful the magnets stay together in a breeze, especially at dawn when bats are going to roost. A bat in the house is not a trifling matter! I think the screen looks decent and operates well. At less than half the cost of a low-quality retractable screen, I think this is a good value for the money.
