Version for multiple LED drivers?

[Size: 28 Inch]
I wish Vevor made a ventilated version of this with a narrow wiring channel down one side, a larger compartment to install multiple LED drivers in a single box, and a real backplate for mounting 8 and 10-inch LED drivers. The lack of a more custom version is my only complaint. I’ve found only one code-compliant JBox that houses multiple LED drivers. Lot’s of single-driver box options.

Solid metal enclosure for media and controls

[Size: 30 Inch]
This is a fairly straightforward item: a 30" high by 14" wide by 3.75" deep media enclosure. This can be used to house any number of media or smart controllers including: cable model, WiFi router, smart home controller, network switch etc. It is designed to be either surface mounted or recess mounted into a stud wall: it is prefectly sized for recessed mounting. The unit is sturdy: I think it is 14 gauge 304 painted steel. The hinge is smooth, and the latch latches cleanly and locks securely. The front and sides are ventilated for good airflow, but use good design judgement: beware of thermal loading when planning your installation, if your components generate a lot of heat, you might want to consider other options given your circumstances. This does not come with a backplate, so installed devices may need to be attached to the unit itself using self-taping screws. Also, there are abundant knockouts, including 2 1-gang knockouts for attaching receptacle boxes to bring plug-in power into the enclosure.I removed one star because the product description makes no mention of any industry safety certification (e.g., UL, IP. NEMA). So, DIYers beware: if you design a system that requires any type of electrical inspection, your design could potentially be at risk since most inspectors will look for those listings. At $100, this is priced competitively with other similar options, but it is of high enough quality that the scale tips toward "good value".

Great for smart home hubsGreat for smart home hubs

[Size: 30 Inch, Size: 30 Inch]
We installed the XMK 30inch media cabinet to hold and help organize all the smart home hubs as well as a couple of network switches, and it has worked well for us. Installation was easy. We just cut through the drywall with the oscillating tool and pretty much slid it in place after running in power. The pre-drilled holes are really nice. It is worth noting that if you want to open the door all the way it needs to stick out about 1/4 to half an inch. For us, it fits nicely into the and looks good. It feels well made and is somewhat heavy for a media cabinet.I love that it has a lock built in. I can keep the kids from getting in the cabinet.I may end up picking up another one of these for the solar install we are doing. The cabinent feels built well and versatile enough to hold some of that equipment out of the way and I like the idea of being able to lock that stuff away as well. For a well built cabinet, this one is great quality and worth the price.

Fantastic enclosure for a clean solar system interface—heavy-duty and highly versatile!Fantastic ...

I purchased this XMK 20-inch structured wiring enclosure to act as the central interface and data management hub for my new solar system setup, and it has worked flawlessly for the job.Pros:Perfect for Custom Projects: While this is designed for home networking, it makes an incredible & durable enclosure for a solar monitoring and communication hub. It easily fits a network switch, router, and the custom data monitoring gateways/logger units for my solar system, keeping all the sensitive electronics completely protected and organized.180° Hinged Door is a Game-Changer: The door swings completely out of the way, which is a massive help when you are working with both hands inside the box trying to route stiff lines, terminate Ethernet connections, or wire up power blocks.Excellent Cable Management & Ventilation: The metal material box features plenty of knockouts on the top, bottom, and back, making it incredibly easy to bring conduit or clean cable runs straight into the enclosure. The ventilation slots keep everything running cool, which is critical for continuous-duty electronics.WiFi Friendly: The door construction didn't cause any noticeable signal drop-off for my wireless equipment inside, allowing my solar interface to seamlessly transmit data to my local network without needing external antennas.Cons:None. It is built tough, flush-mounts beautifully, and keeps a complex electrical/data setup looking professionally installed. If you are putting together a new solar array or hybrid inverter setup and need a clean, centralized interface box to handle all your data loggers, routers, and communication lines, this 20-inch box is absolutely perfect. Clean, sturdy, and well worth every penny!

Perfect for Organizing Networking & Electrical Equipment

[Size: 30 Inch]
I ordered the 30-inch cabinet for my husband's office to help organize all of his networking, IT, and electrical equipment, and it has been a fantastic addition. One of my favorite features is the built-in ventilation. It's reassuring knowing that routers, switches, and other devices can stay organized without overheating. The lock and key are another huge plus in our house. We have a very curious toddler who loves to investigate everything, so having a secure cabinet provides a lot of peace of mind. The cabinet itself is very well made and feels sturdy and durable. My husband was especially happy to see the punch-out holes on both the top and bottom of the enclosure, which made running power and networking cables much easier during installation. This cabinet helped turn a messy collection of wires and equipment into a clean, organized setup. Between the improved appearance, added safety, and thoughtful design features, it's absolutely worth the investment. If you're looking for a structured wiring enclosure or media cabinet to keep your networking equipment organized and protected, I highly recommend this one. The tidiness and peace of mind alone are worth every penny!

Spacious, Well-Built Media Enclosure for Networking and MoreSpacious, Well-Built Media Enclosure ...

[Size: 28 Inch, Size: 28 Inch]
I purchased the 28-inch version, and one of the first things that stood out was how much usable space it provides. While these enclosures are often used for structured wiring and electrical installations, this box is large enough to accommodate a variety of low-voltage devices such as a wireless router, network switch, fiber equipment, cable modem, and even a slim mini PC. It offers plenty of room for organizing both equipment and cabling in one central location. The enclosure itself is made entirely of metal, giving it a sturdy and durable feel. The hinged door opens wide for easy access, and the integrated lock is a nice feature for protecting networking equipment and wiring from accidental tampering.Ventilation is another strong point. The enclosure has numerous ventilation openings throughout the door and cabinet, which should help with airflow and heat dissipation for active devices such as switches, routers, and mini computers.I was also impressed by the packaging. The door arrived protected with a removable film to prevent scratches, and the manufacturer used generous padding around the edges and corners of the enclosure. Given that large metal boxes can easily be dented during shipping, the extra care in packaging was appreciated.Overall, this is a well-constructed and versatile media enclosure with ample space, good ventilation, secure access, and excellent packaging. Whether you're organizing structured wiring, networking equipment, security devices, or a small home lab setup, the 28-inch version provides plenty of room to work with.

Must have for clean and organized network wiring

[Size: 30 Inch]
This media enclosure is perfect for housing wifi network equipment. There is ample space for more than just one device too. It provides convenient pre-drilled holes for mounting devices, I like to use zip ties. Mounting this enclosure to the wall is a breeze with more than enough holes to run screws through into the wall for secure mounting. The enclosure also has vents to allow for devices to not get too hot as some devices will get hot, especially modems running on less than desirable signal decibels. The door swings open smoothly and the lock latches with ease. I received the 30" enclosure and was able to fit a commercial grade wifi router/modem, and our security camera unit that is networked into our router, with more room to spare for at least two more devices. This is a high-quality enclosure that looks great and helps save space while helping our network closet look clean and tidy.

Quality enclosureQuality enclosure

I ordered this to house the electronics for a CNC machine I’m currently building. I have to say I was really surprised by how nice it is. It’s heavy steel with a white powder coat finish. The door is attached via a full length piano hinge and a lock. (There’s no latch, so it will not stay closed unless it’s locked.) It was really well packed with extra padding on all the corners and edges, so it arrived in perfect condition. It was supplied with 4 mounting screws and 4 keys. There are slotted vent holes in the door to provide fresh air for cooling. The main mounting holes are on the back and there are additional holes on the sides. I intend to mount mine between two vertical boards using the side mounting holes. There are a few knock-out holes and panels on the bottom for cable access. Overall, I’m quite happy with the quality. So why only 4 stars? The four provided keys are plastic and the lock mechanism is quite stiff. I can see breaking the keys when trying to lock or unlock the door. If that ever happens while trying to unlock the door, it will be very difficult to get it open. I’m considering whether I should just replace the lock now to be sure I don’t get hung up in the future.Even with my issue regarding the lock, I think this is a very good value. I’ve looked at other cabinets that are much more expensive but don’t really offer anything more in terms of fit and finish. I would buy these again for future projects.
