This is an attractive ceiling fan with a DC motor for quiet operation and 6 speeds to hit your sweet spot on comfort. The fan works great in bedrooms or great rooms where the virtually silent motor will not interfere with sleep or with TV viewing. The light is dimmable, and you can easily adjust the color anywhere between 3000K (warm) and 6000K (daylight) to suit your preference. The blades can be reversed for either a black lacquer or a traditional woodgrain finish.The fan comes with a full function remote that controls all functions including speed selection, forward/reverse, "breeze" mode, light dimmer and color, a 2 hour timer, and fan on/off and light on/off. Batteries are included to get you up and running quickly.If you've installed a ceiling fan before, this one is no different with the exception that each blade is in 2 sections that attach together with a couple of screws. This design does not add much time to assembly and installation--it took me about 45 minutes total. The fan comes with 2 down rod lengths and can be mounted on a flat or a sloped ceiling. Paper instructions are included, as is a link to the online manual and an installation video. My fan did not wobble, but the manufacturer included a balance kit in case your fan is not perfectly balanced from the factory.The fan comes with a 2 year warranty. At the time of this review, the cost of the fan is $109.99 and is a good value when compared to similar items at your local big box hardware store.

A 72-inch ceiling fan is not exactly shy, and this POWIFY model makes its presence known without looking like industrial machinery escaped into the living room. The black modern design works especially well in larger rooms, open living areas, and covered patios with enough ceiling clearance. Its broad blade span moves air across more space than a typical bedroom fan, which is the whole point of buying something this large. Just measure the room and ceiling height first, because discovering that 72 inches is genuinely 72 inches should not be the exciting part of installation.The six speed settings provide a useful range from gentle circulation to much stronger airflow. Its DC motor operates smoothly and avoids much of the mechanical racket associated with older fan motors. The reversible direction is useful throughout the year, circulating cool air during warm weather and helping redistribute trapped warm air when temperatures drop. The remote makes those adjustments convenient, while the app adds another control option for anyone whose phone is apparently more dependable than the location of the remote.The integrated light can be dimmed and adjusted from warm 3000K lighting to crisp 6000K lighting. Warm light feels more relaxed in a living room, while cooler settings are useful when brighter task lighting is needed. Installation is manageable with proper ceiling-fan wiring and a fan-rated electrical box, but the fan’s size makes a second person extremely helpful when lifting and aligning parts. Bad and hard to understand instructions even for a engineer.It nice once you figure it out.No instructions for the controller either.
